Too Much Too Soon, chapter 21
David walked away from the body, and heard the sound of a car coming. He hopped into his car to drive away, but oddly, the car parked in David's way. He became angy, but relized the car was the black SUV that he had seen at the little food mart. The 4 men in black trench coats exit the car. David eyes grew wide, and he thought Today is my lucky day! Not only did I get Billie, but I can get these guys to tell me where his family is! HAHAHAHA. He exited the car, and walked up to the men in black with ease. The men saw Billie's body, then turned to face David.
"Good evening gentlemen. I see that I have already accomplished the task for you," David said.
"You idiot!" one of the men in black said and began to choke David, "We were supposed to protect him from you!" David gasped! They knew that he was after Billie?! David tried to escape the man's death grip, and was saved by one of the men who told him to stop. David fell to the ground to trying to catch his breath.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" David screamed.
The man who choked him took off his glasses, and hat. David's eyes grew bigg. The man looked familiar.
"Suprised?! I heard about your plan, and the moment I heard about it, I had to do something about it!"
"Al?" David whisphered, "You were-"
"That's right, I was part of Billie's band. We remained friends over the years. He's like a brother to me!"
The three other men revealed themselves, which made David's eyes even bigger, and causing his jaw to drop.
"Tre? Jason? Mike?"
"Yeah, we found out, too. You were the one who shot the driver, which caused our bus to sink into the river. We weren't sure if you'd actually do it, but you did. Al acted like an investigator and handed us the black outfits as a disguse. Yah, we lied about part of our story. We knew what was going on the whole time. We hid our identites to stay away from you. We didn't tell Billie about it because he would never allow his friends to act as his body gaurds-"Jason explained
David interrupted and laughed, "HAHAHA, some body gaurds you are!"
Al kicked David in the stomach, causing David to curl up into a ball.
"Shut up!"
"What-about-the-family-" David said in pain.
"They're safe. Joey's kidnapping, was pre-planned, we told him that we were going to sneak him to his grandparent's house so that YOU couldn't get him! We faked Adrienne's bullet wound so that we could distract Billie, and take the kid. The Burnes thought they saw little Joey, but it was only a doll. Adrienne knew the whole time. She also knew that we were going to take her to safety after Jakob's birth." Tre responeded.
"Well aren't you clever," David said glaring up at the men from the ground.
"And one last trick up our sleeve, David." Mike said smoothly, and a twinkle in his eye.
