Why Me?, chapter 3
"Hey Jakob," I said bending down, "Isn't your dad suppose to pick you up?"
"Well, yeah but I don't know where he told me he was going to" he said in a small voice.
I stood up and stared at him. "Well you could use my cellphone to call your dad" I said pulling out my phone.
"Really? Thanks!" said Jakob with a big smile.
I curiosly watched this little kid dial the phone without any problems.
***Conversation***
"Hello? Who is this?" said the voice on the other side.
"Daddy this is Jakob, and I am calling you to tell you where you are going to pick me up"
"Oh but where are you calling from, I don't recognize this phone number?"
"I am calling form Avril's phone an-"
"Really?"
"Yah, but where are you going to pick me up? Okay, bye!"

"So where is he going to pick you up?" I said.
"Well infront of the auditorium" he said looking confused.
"Come on, I'll show where it is" I said taking his hand.
So we reached the front of the auditorium. God this school had a HUGE front lawn.
"Hey Jakob! Over here!" we head someone scream.
Jakob let go of my hand and ran, but then stopped and turned to grab my hand. He actually dragged me to where his dad was.
"Daddy!" screamed Jakob running into his dad's arms.
"Jakob!" said "that man" picking up Jakob, then putting him down.
"Oh yeah, Daddy this is Avril, Avril this is my daddy!" said Joey.
"Hi, I'm Avril" I said putting my hand for a shake.
"Hi" pulling off his sunglasses "I am Billie Joe" shaking my hand.
I was in a dream. Shaking Billie Joe's hand, standing infront of my idol. I was just staring at his green eyes, that sparkled in the sun light. Then my cellphone started ringing. We let go of shaking hands. I flipped it open.
"Hi... Again?... Ok... Don't worry I will take the bus... Bye..." click.
"Jakob, I need to go, see you next week (I forgot to mention that it was Friday)!" I said putting my cellphone in my pocket.
"Why? What happened" he asked worried.
"My mom's car broke down, and since she is the only one available to drive right now, I have to take the bus home" I said looking right down at him. Joey was about to open his mouth when Billie interrupted.
"We can take you" he said. I looked up at him and I blushed.
"No it's okay you don't have too" I said hiding my face to hide the fact that I was blushing.
"I'll be more than happy to" said Billie reassuring me.
"Please, Avril?" said Joey doing an adorable puppy face, then Billie bended down and joined him in a puppy face. All I could do is laugh.
"Okay!" I managed to say in between laughs.
Billie stood up and opened the front passenger seat. Then Jakob slid onto the back next to a another boy.
"This is Joey," said Billie pointing at him.
"Hi! I am Joey!" said Joey with a smile.
"I am Avril!" I said.
I gave Billie the directions to my house.
"God you do have a way with children! Even if they don't know you they still feel safe!" said Billie giving a laugh.
When Billie pulled up infront of my house I opened the door and stepped out. Billie put the window down.
"Bye" he said looking at the steering wheel.
"Bye!" said Jakob and Joey and the same time.
"Bye!" then I walked to door.
I ran to my room. I just met Billie Joe from Green Day! I thought while turning the lights on. I must have fallen asleep cause the phone ringing woke me up like 3 hours later.
"Hello" I said rubbing my eyes.
"Hey, Avril this is Billie"
