Why Me?, chapter 4
As soon I i heard those words I started choking. Pounding my chest. And I managed to say in my most stupid squeaky voice. "Really?"
I heard him laugh, "Yes, well can you come over to look after Joey and Jakob, while I go visit Adrienne at the hospital?"
"Um" I stopped, "Yeah i could"
"Don't you need pemission from your parents or something?"]
"They went to New York, just this morning to take my dad to the hospital, I guess they have a good back pain unit there" I shrugged.
Billie Joe laughed. I felt like a total idiot, with that stupid last statement.
"Okay, so i will be picking you up like in 10 minutes" with that he hung up.
I still couldn't believe I have had a conversation with the famous Billie Joe Armstrong. Well it was weird how i took a bath, changed clothes which consisted of tigh pants a green day shirt. I applied a new layer of eyeliner and eye shadow. I still had like 5 minutes left. I took my green day sweater, and went down stairs. I though to my self, why not watch a little of MTV? Well as I flipped it to MTV, an Eminem video was just finishing I got up and got a Rockstar drink. Then out of the TV came "I'm braking my back just to know your name" ONe of my favorite songs! "Somebody Told Me" by the Killers. I ran as fast to see it.
"Somebody told me you have a boyfriend, who looked like a girlfriend that i had in Febuary of last year, it's not confidential, i got potential, a rushin a rushin around!"
I layed back on the couch. Then I heard a knock on my door. I grabbed my sweater. I opened the door.
"So are you ready?" he said, the door was not even half opened.
"Yup" i said looking at my feet.
When i reached his car, i was about to reach the handle, when he got infront and opened it. "After you" he said
"Thanks!" i said getting in the seat.
Okay so what kind of girl would be nervous of being in the same car as your idol? The ride was mainly silence. To brake the silence Billie Joe said "Jakob really wanted you to take care of them" **what kind of comment was that BILLIE keep it cool!**
"Really?" I said looking up at him.
"Yup, when I said i was going to visit their mom in the hospital, Jakob burst out , Avril can take care of us, and the rest is history" he said giving a turn. Then pulling to a stop. He got out real fast, ran to the passengers seat. It was like wathcing a bullet soar in the air. All i could was laugh. He opened the door. I got out. His house was amazing! It was like a mansion. As soon as he opened the door, Jakob came running and gave me a hug. "Avril!" Billie Joe laughed! "I guess i am not going to be missed! Now Joey and Jakob be good for Avril Okay? k!" with that he went to the door and left. I turned to Jakob and Joey.
"So what do you want to do?" i said looking at Jakob then Joey.
"Let's watch TV!" said Joey eyeing the Tv.
"Yeah Avril! Let's watch TV!" said Jakob, already dragging me to the living room.
"Okay! So what are we going to watch?" I said plopping down on the sofa.
"Let's watch music videos!" Joey said reaching for the controll. Then he pushed a big red button the tv screen came on. Then an Emimem video came up.
"Uh I think you should change it!" I said about to reach the controll.
"No!" screamed Joey and Jakob.
