My Life Got Better.. After I Died, chapter 8
"So do you regret it?" Seth asked me.
"I................. I dont know." I said. I do but I dont. I thought to myself. I was sad that I had killed myself because it seems as if my life may have gotten better if I hadnt slit my wrist but it also seemed to be going good. I wasnt sure yet if I regreted the decision.
"Besides, what does it matter if I regreted my decision, I'm dead now and I cant change that so..." I said trailing off.
"Maybe you can do something." Seth said. I had no idea what he was talking about.
"What?" I asked baffled.
"Nothing." Seth said. I had a feeling Seth wasnt telling me something. I couldn't force it out of him though. My friends began to walk back towards the elevator. I wanted to follow them.
"Are we going?" Seth asked me. I felt as if he could read my mind. I had to make a decision quick.
"Nah." I said. I didnt need to follow them anymore. Seth and I went back into Green Day's room to see what they were doing. We floated in and unfortunantely they were all asleep already. Seth and I were dissapointed.
"Lets play a joke." Seth said.
"Okay." I agreed. I was bored and I wasnt tired, and I didnt think I ever would be. I dont think ghosts need to sleep. Seth floated into the bathroom and returned with a bottle of shaving cream. He began putting it in Billie Joe's hand. Then he looked around the room. Tre had destroyed a pillow earlier and the feathers were laying on a chair, along with the shredded pillow. Seth grabbed a feather and tickled Billie Joe's face. Billie Joe touched his face and the shaving cream went all over his face, and it woke him up. Seth quickly put the feather in Tre's hand. Billie Joe sleepily got up and looked around the room. He turned on a light and looked at the other guys. He saw the feather in Tre's hand. He got out of the bed and walked over to Tre. He slapped him and woke him up.
"Dont pretend to be asleep." Billie Joe said sleepily. Tre woke and looked around.
"What, HA." said Tre interrupting his sentence with laughter after he noticed Billie Joe's face.
"Yeah laugh all you want I know you did it." Billie Joe said.
"I didnt." Tre said then stopped laughing.
"Whatever, next time hide the evidence." Billie Joe said walking back to his bed. he was too tired to argue. Tre looked down at his hand.
"I... I swear I didnt." Tre said confused.
"Whatever, should have left you outside." Billie Joe said before falling asleep. Tre continued to look at the feather bewildered. Seth and I began laughing.
"I think we really are scaring him." I said to Seth.
"Yeah." Seth said between laughs.
I played this trick on a friend at a sleepover once. I had a flashback to that night. The girls name was Georgialynn. We told her whoever fell asleep was gonna get the old shaving cream trick, yet Georgia still fell asleep at 8:30. Me, Kelsey, Cj and Kayla carried out our promise and put shacing cream on Georgia. the next year we were all enemies with Georgia. She was one reason I definently killed myself and was another reason why I didnt care that I was dead.
