Boulevard of Broken Dreams, chapter 5

The band, Green Day, didn't get a contract for two months. They were frustrated. They were planning to make a song so they went downtown to find some ideas. While they were walking, they saw many things like child being abuse and all that stuff. Mike suddenly had an idea for that song:Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Mike made the lyrics and Billie Joe and Tre made the tabs. But Mike was slow in progress and he didn't want them to help him. The rest went out to a park to ease their mind. Mike regretted and then he went out to look for the guys. He saw them but was knocked down by a car. He was immediately sent to hospital. His face lit up when he saw the band's faces. Three days later, they practice on the song and fixed a few mistakes. Then there was a Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod Tour. The Tour was turned out to be disastrous as gangsters were holding shotguns and shooting people. Another tour too, had a bad ending. Just moments ago they received a phone call...

Story begins after phone call:

"We," Billie Joe said, "are going to have a contract tommorow!!!"

"Yes!" Mike replied,"I knew it! We were lucky to make the songs just in time!"

They went to the studio and sang songs. The band played happily.

Three weeks past, and their album was sold. The band made it to the top as the best album of 2004. They also made a video of their single : American Idiot.

They were happy and celebrated madly. They won 5 awards including : Best Album, Best Song:American Idiot, Best Punk Video:American Idiot, Best Punk Band, Best of 2004.

Their best songs that the fan rated on some websites was Wake Me Up When September Ends, Holiday, American Idiot, Boulevard Of Broken Dreams.

Tre had an idea: Why dont we make a video, Boulevard of Broken Dreams?"

The rest nodded and they went to their manager. Billie Joe said,"We want to make a video of Boulevard Of Broken Dreams --- a sequel to a video Holiday which we will make later --if you accept."

The manager replied, "I accept."
