Billie Joe opened the door and saw Kat lying on her bed in the dark staring up at the ceiling.
"Hey B.J.! What's up?", asked Kat, sitting up quickly.
"Nothing. I just...", Billie Joe lost his words.
Kat looked like she was about to burst into tears.
"So are you and Hanieh... together now?", asked Kat, awkwardly.
"No. Definitely Not.", replied Billie Joe quickly, sitting down next to Kat on the bed.
"Oh... Well It didn't look like that before.", said Kat turning away.
"I am quite aware of what it looked like. It's not like that!", said Billie Joe, irritably.
Kat nodded, "Ok. I believe you. I mean, it's kinda hard not too.", said Kat moving closer to Billie Joe.
Kat looked up into Billie Joe's eyes.
Billie Joe looked into Kat's shiny blue eyes.
Both their lips locked into a looooonnnnngggg kiss.
The pair broke away for a moment.
Kat yawned.
Billie Joe pretended to look hurt, "Was it that bad?", smirked Billie Joe.
"No. Of course not. I'm just tired... ", laughed Kat.
"No surprise, started Billie Joe, checking Kat's clock, It's like... .One O'clock in the morning.", finished Billie Joe also yawning.
"So where am I sleeping?", asked Billie Joe.
"Kat?", asked Billie Joe, softly jabbing a sleeping Kat in the ribs.
"Eh... I guess I'll just sleep here.", said Billie Joe, lying down on the massive bed.
Billie Joe didn't feel quite so bad about what happened with Hanieh before. Kat had obviously forgiven him. He just had to avoid Hanieh if he wanted to stay with Kat.
