Dorm Number 27, chapter 5
"Man, that was fun. Oh, Billie, you sleep on the floor," Amy smiled, opening the door to the room.
"Dude! How would you know if I just slipped into my bed while you sleep?" Billie Joe sat on his bed.
"Iono. I have my ways. You'll be there in the morning, anyway. Now, I'm taking a shower," She grabbed her towel and some clean clothes and walked into the bathroom, locking the door behind her.
Billie cell phone rang just then. He flipped it open and laid down on his bed.
"Yo," he siad.
"Hey, Billie Joe. What's up?" A girl's voice said.
"Oh, hey Alley. Nothin' much, you?" he sighed.
"Is our date still on for tomorrow night?" she asked.
"Date?"
"Yeah, did you already forget you have a girlfriend?"
"Oh, no. I'm sorry. Sure, I just remembered our date. Is it alright if I bring a friend? My new dorm mate."
"Oh, sure, go ahead. I got to go."
"Okay. Bye."
"Love ya," and she hung up. Billie put a hand on his head in frustration.
"Oh... Fuck!" He cursed to himself. He forgot about Alley, the girl he asked out the week before. But Billie was falling for Amy now. "Oh, what will I do...?"
"Hey, Billie! I'm done," Amy walked out of the bathroom wearing her pajamas. She had on a black cami top and black Happy Bunny pants that were baggy and said "You Bite It Big Time" on it. She walked over to her bed and sat down on it and stared at Billie.
"What?" he asked.
"Nothing. What day is it today? Date also," She asked, continueing to look at him.
"Sunday, September 3. Why?"
"Just wondering," she smiled and laid down on the bed. "Remember, you sleep on the floor tonight."
A few seconds later she smiled. "You know... I haven't had this much fun in... Years."
Billie looked at her a few seconds before she turned over and fell asleep. He stood up and put the covers over her, careful not to wake her. He stood there and looked at her sleeping form before turning off the light and laying on the floor. Billie Joe remained honest on his word, and slept on the floor that night.
