Please Keep Taking Me Away, chapter 1
Emily sighed as she flicked her blonde hair from out her eyes. She was listing to her fave green day album, Nimrod and reading a Green Day interview in her kerrang issue.
"God I would love to meet them" Emily said sighing once again
"Yeah it would be amazing" Emily's best friend Anna said as she strummed some chords on her Gibson guitar.
Sitting next to Anna was Emily's other best friend Robyn who was drawing pictures.
"And that chances of meeting them are very very slim" Robyn said and gave a sad sign.
All three of them loved green day. Green Day had at least once helped them in a way through life. Emily continued to flick through the magazine when suddenly she stopped with a shocked look on her face.
"Oh my god" Emily said out loud.
"What is it?" Robyn asked as she continued to doodle away.
"There is a comp to meet Green Day and it's an easy question and it Finnish's tonight and you have to phone in. Anyone got a phone?!?" Emily said so fast that Robyn and Anna had to think for a while before jumping up and running to her.
Anna quickly grabbed her phone and more or less chucked it Emily. She quickly dialled the number and nearly screamed when she got through.
"Hello this is the meet Green Day competition. Now all you have to do is answer this simple question: What does the song Basket Case deal with? Answer after the beep" said the recorded message.
"Beeeeep"
"It deals with panic disorder" Emily said almost out of breath
"Thank you now leave you name, number and address after the beep"
"Beeeeep"
As Emily left her details Robyn and Anna danced around the room singing songs about meeting green day.
Once Emily came of the phone they spent the rest of the evening and night talking about how amazing it would be. Emily tried to stay calm but the prospect of meeting the band she had loved for years was just too amazing for her.
"It says the winner will be revealed tomorrow afternoon on the website" Anna said as she flicked through the magazine.
"You do all realise that Billie Joe will be mine" Robyn said laughing.
Emily chucked a pillow at her and Robyn chucked it hard back.
"Now now children lets calm down as we all know the truth that Billie Joe, actually all of them will fall for me" Anna said with a straight face.
Emily and Robyn burst out laughing as Anna gave a smirk and then burst out laughing as well.
"Don't we sound like some little teenies" Emily said laughing.
The night went on and eventually they all fell asleep.
"Riiiiiiiiiiiiing" went the alarm clock on Robyn's mobile.
"Robyn why the hell did you make it do that!" Anna said sleepily.
"Because this is when the winner gets shown on the kerrang website silly" Robyn said as she jumped out of her sleeping bag and started running towards the kitchen.
Anna got up and lazily followed her and Emily walked in a little daydream. She was not going to give her hopes up because she never won anything like this.
As Anna and Emily got into the kitchen Robyn was already on the computer with her mouth wide open.
"YOU WON EMLY!" Robyn screamed and started jumping around like some demented mad woman.
Anna also joined in the jumping but Emily just stayed still in shock.
"I won?" Emily asked "I really won?"
"Of course you did, look!" Robyn said madly pointing at the screen.
"The Winner of our Meet Green Day competition is... .

The correct answer was "Panic Disorder"
Emily and two friends will be picked up on the 9th of august at 10am at Emily's house by limo. Then the three of them will go get a plan to London where they will meet the punk legends themselves."
"I think I might die" Emily said trying to get her breath.
"Please don't you're the only way I get to meet green day" Anna said and started laughing.
"What date is it!?!" Robyn asked still jumping around.
"The 8th!" Anna shouted jumping again.
"Aaaah its tomorrow when we meet them, oh what will I wear!" Robyn said.
That day went so slowly and so did the night that followed. Emily woke up at 8am and got a shower and got changed into her Green Day "Kiss me I'm punk" t-shirt and baggy jeans and battered black converse. She then sat in silence in the living room as her, Anna and Robyn waited on the limo.
Then Robyn screamed as she saw the limo slow down the street and stop outside there house. The three of them ran out and when the door opened there mouths went wide open.
Sitting in the limo was Tre Cool. The did not expect him to be there, they where told they would meet Green Day once they got to London.
"Though you girls might be lonely on the journey to London so I thought I would hop in" he said with his usual horny face.
"Shut up Tre" A voice said from next to Tre.
Then all of a sudden the girls saw Mike sitting next to him and Billie Joe across from the other two.
"We kinda got bored of London so we thought instead we will come to Scotland. So you three fancy coming hanging with us in Edinburgh and stay the night at our lovely hotel?" Mike asked cheerfully
The girls nodded and climbed into the limo. Anna and Robyn sat at each side of Billie Joe and Emily sat in the middle of Mike and Tre.
The Journey to Edinburgh normally did not take long but they got caught in a traffic jam.
"Well we can all get to know each other now" Tre said smiling and laughed when Mike rolled his eyes at him.
At first Emily, Robyn and Anna where quiet but after a couple of minutes they would all not shut up. All the time when everyone was talking Emily kept looking at Billie Joe she tried not to but she could not help it. She felt like she was in love even know she had only just met him. Every time she turned away Billie Joe watched her. No one noticed the two of them except for Mike who raised his eyebrow slightly but the chose to ignore them.
Finally the Limo stopped outside a Hotel in Edinburgh and they all stepped out.
"Okay let's quickly get into the hotel before a bunch of crazed fans try get us" Billie Joe said just as a bunch of screaming girls came running at them.
Quickly they all started to run towards the hotel. As they where running Billie Joe held onto Emily's hand. Once they got into the hotel he did not let go. They all stood there talking, when Billie Joe realised he was still holding onto Emily's hand he slowly let go.
"Oh um sorry" he said as he let go to much disappoint of Emily.
"Its o-okay" Emily stuttered and went red with embarrassment not noticing so had Billie Joe.
Time went by and the crowd outside and slowly went away.
"Okay now shopping" Robyn said laughing.
They all stepped outside and a couple of fans ran straight over and got Green Day's autograph then ran off again.
"I like signing autographs but we can never go out anywhere without getting more or less jumped on" Billie Joe said as they started walking down the street.
The day went on they did a bit of shopping, got some food, laid on the grass in the gardens. The whole time Billie Joe and Emily could not keep there eyes of each other. When they headed back to the hotel it was starting to get dark.
Emily was staring into the sky as she walked, lost in thought. Then all of a sudden Billie Joe had linked arms with her.
"Hey could we talk for a little while" He said softly then pointed to the other who where a bit ahead "There too busy being mad to notice we have stopped"
Emily nodded and gave a small laugh when she Anna pouring a bottle of water on Tre and Mike's heads.
"Look Emily I have been meaning to say all day, I think your amazing even know I have only met you. Your so pretty and funny and nice. What am meaning to say is I really like you, a lot" Billie Joe said unlinking and standing right in front of Emily holding her arm softly.
"I-I really like you t-to" Emily stuttered not believing what she had just heard.
Then slowly Billie Joe leaned in closer and before she knew it they where kissing softly then passionately. They continued kissing until the heard the others walking back.
"Emily what are you doing!" Anna and Robyn both shouted.
"Put the girl down Billie" Mike said laughing.
Tre just rolled his eyes and grabbed Robyn and kissed her then let her go.
"I felt left out as Billie Joe and Emily are kissing and Mike and Anna have been making eyes at each other all day, erm hope you didn't mind" He said with that look on his face to Robyn.
Robyn was in shock she just nodded slowly her eyes wide open. Anna and Mike just looked embarrassed.
They all started walking again but this time Emily and Billie Joe were holding hands tightly. Once they got inside the hotel they all stood still in the main foyer.
"Okay is it okay with you girls we have just got yous a room together with three beds so yous can have your girly chats" Mike said laughing.
"We of course have separate rooms and of course your all welcome to come to my room" Tre said winking at Robyn who did a girly giggle.
"You can visit my room maybe?" Billie Joe whispered in Emily's ear giving her puppy dog eyes.
"Yeah maybe" Emily said laughing slightly.
They kissed again but stopped when they heard Tre give an over exaggerated sigh.
They all said there goodnights and walked off to there room. As soon as Emily, Robyn and Anna got into there room. Anna and Robyn pounded Emily with questions.
"So is he a good kisser?"
"What did he whisper to you?"
"Do you love him?"
"Have you seen his "thing" yet?" Robyn buttered out making them all laugh like they did at the many sleepover they had.
Then finally they all fell asleep except for Emily who remembered what Billie Joe had said to her. She got up and put on a dressing gown and tip toed out of the room and towards Billie Joe's. She quietly knocked on the door. Suddenly the door swung open and Billie Joe was standing there in his boxers looking a bit embarrassed.
"Hey come in" he said holding the door open for her.
Emily walked in slowly and stopped when they got in the middle of them room.
"These are new boxers by the way" Billie Joe said and laughed the added "Why did I just say that?"
Emily smiled and the both sat down on the couch and started talking about school, music, films and stuff like that.
"Emily I am so happy you won that contest, am so happy to have met you" He said the leaned in and they kissed passionately.
They continued kissing. Emily then realised she was lying on the couch on her back with Billie Joe lying on top. She could not believe what was happening while his hand moved freely about her. Then Billie Joe stopped kissing.
"I think I love you" he said softly
"I think I love you too" Emily said out of breath.
