"Hey, Bill, are you OK? You look pretty tired." Mike asked, passing his friend coffee. "What? Uh, yeah, yeah, I'm fine, I couldn't really sleep last night, that's all." Billie Joe said blearily. "Aww... " Tré said, smiling gently. Billie Joe smiled weakly back. "I dunno if you should go to school, man... " Mike muttered.
"No, really, I'll be fine!" Billie Joe said, smiling falsely. Mike and Tré shot each other glances. Tré shrugged. "Well you better hurry up then." Mike said reluctantly. Phew, Billie Joe thought as they went off to brush their teeth. They almost had you there. He sighed and pulled away from the table.
