Barbie Girls, chapter 7
**11:09am in room 842**
Tre and Mike sat in silence looking at a row of people, who were staring at them in a patronizing way.
One of the men, who was wearing a weird looking suit and half crescent glasses finally said, "So when is the final member of your band coming to this meeting?" He looked at his paper and then continued, "Green Day? Ok? Michael... "
But Mike butted in, "My name is Mike not Michael!"
The man peered at mike and then continued "Fine Mike, ... Billie and... what?" He peered over his glasses and lent closer to the paper "... Tree? Tri... Tre? Who is this Tre?"
Tre raised his hand, but didn't say anything.
The man looked slightly puzzled, "Why are u named after a tea tray?"
There was a loud knock at the door and then in stormed Billie. Billie was breathing heavily and he managed to get a few words in between breaths, "Sorry... I Got... Lost! ... Just... give me... a sec... "
The row of people were looking at Billie's every move. Billie sat down in his chair and wiggled about a bit to get comfortable. Billie looked at Mike and then Tre then smiled. Tre was peering round Mike to look at Billie, but neither smiled back.
Billie turned to look at the people staring at him, his Smile faded as he went along the line. He felt like he had walked into a haunted graveyard. And the ghosts where looking at him and they would haunt him for the rest of his life.
"I'll shut up now! Carry on... " said Billie in a scared voice. Billie looked at Mike and Tre his eyes widening with every second he was in the room.
"... Good! First thing I would like 2 make clear, no being late for meetings! Mr Armstrong!" said the man in a harsh voice.
"Yes sir!" replied Billie, while looking at the table, trying not to look at anyone's face.
The man gave an evil look towards Billie and continued, "Next I would like... "
Billie hiccupped and put his hands over his mouth. "Sorry!"
There was a slight pause and then the man continued, "I would like to show... "
Billie hiccupped again and again. The man was now starting to get annoyed. Billie stood up, still hiccupping, and left the room.
Billie came back with a glass of water; he sat down on his chair and slurped the water down. The man was now peering over his glasses to see what Billie would do next.
Billie slammed the glass down on the table, some of the people jumped, and looked at Billie in shock. Billie looked at the glass and then the man, "I think they are gone?" said Billie with a smile.
"Fine, I will continue. I would like to show you these scripts, they are the ones you will have to memorise for the movie and... "
Billie hiccupped again, "Danm! They are back!" said Billie in a sarcastic tone.
The man started to red in the face and suddenly jumped out of his chair, and looked at Billie. Every one in the room looked at him and there was a painful silence.
The man broke the silence by saying calmly, "fine, we can't finish this meeting because of RUDE interruptions, so you are on your own now." Every one on the other side of the table then stood up at the same time and walked slowly out of the room, like a funeral march.
Green Day looked at each other.
"Weird people, oh well it is lunch time!" said Tre in a happy voice! Tre started dancing.
Billie and Mike laughed at him then they headed of to the café for lunch.
