A Night To Remember, chapter 1

"Billie Joe."
Billie Joe didn't stir.
"Billieeeeeeeeee," the voice kept saying it. Billie Joe stirred in his bunk, his eyes adjusting to the dim light. He yelled as his eyes focused on Tré's smiling face, white face paint smudged around his eyes and nose. He looked like a demented clown.
"What the fuck?" Billie Joe said. He couldn't get up as Tré was sitting on him.
"Guess what day it is?" Tré whispered.
"The day I'm gonna whip your sorry ass for waking me up?"
"No. IT'S HALLOWEEN!" Tré screeched in Billie's ear. He started jumping on Billie. Billie yelled in protest.
"Son of a-" Billie was cut short by Mike.
"Tré, shut the fuck up. It's four a. M." Mike murmured.
"FOUR A.M.! YOU BASTARD!" Billie pushed Tré off his bunk and fell out of bed, his legs getting tangled in his sheets.
"That's the spirit! Your dressing as a ghostie!" Tré laughed as he bounced on the spot.
"Your gonna pay!" Billie leapt at Tré and chased him round the tour bus. Tré laughed hysterically as he chanted "Ghostie ghostie ghostie!" Mike watched for a while, but got bored and fell asleep. This behaviour wasn't unusual. Billie Joe chased Tré into the living room, but tripped on the coffee table and fell to the floor. Tré sat on him again and started rubbing his hair the wrong way. Billie Joe screamed in protest and got his own back by biting Tré's hand.
"AHH! Ghostie bitie!" Tré screamed, and leapt up. Billie Joe sat up and laughed.
"Ghostie do fucking bitie!" He said. "And ghostie gonna go back to bed now!" Tré pouted.
"But it's Halloween! We have to make tonight special!" Billie Joe rolled his eyes.
"Go back to bed Tré. We'll figure it all out tomorrow."
"Tomorrows today dumbass!" Tré laughed.
"Whatever." Billie yawned as he climbed back into bed. He pulled his sheets back around him. He could tell that today was going to be a long day.
Tré sat down on the couch sighing loudly. No-one understood how great Halloween was! He couldn't go back to bed now. He was too excited. He checked his watch. 4:15. He looked out of the window. It was still quite dark. They were in, now where was it?, Glasgow, Scotland, on the 15th date of their World Tour, and they were in the car park of whatever venue they were in (Tré never bothered remembering - that was Mike's job). They would be playing in about 15 hours time. There was quite a lot of snow covering the ground. Tré liked snow. He raked in some drawers and found a beanie hat and a puffy jacket that he used as a cushion when he jumped from high places and stepped outside. The air was crisp and tangy, and Tré's breath hung in the air. With bare feet and nothing but boxers, a hat and a jacket on he ran around the car park whooping at the top of his voice. Today was going to be great!
