The Truth About Dogs, chapter 11
Tre stood there waiting for my comeback. Unfortunately, I didn't have one.
Was I being an asshole? I looked at Tre. I knew he thought I was. But seriously, that dog is just... evil.
I looked over at Pecker. He was growling at me. I looked over at Mike.
"Don't look at me, dude. I agree with Tre. You're imagining things or something. It's just a dog," said Mike softly.
I looked over at Rob, and he just looked down at the floor.
"Fine then," I started, "Maybe I should just go."
"Billie... " started Rob.
I interrupted him, "No. Shut up. I obviously need help because in my mind, a dog is trying to kill me, and nobody but me can see that."
I was more than pissed.
I grabbed my guitar, my cat, and my other stuff and walked out. I got back into my car, ignoring the huge, head sized dent in the door and all the dog shit on the seat. I practically threw my guitar and stuff into the backseat, and tossed Princess in beside me.
I had just sat down when Tre came out to me. This was it... I knew that they wouldn't be able to do anything without me.
But I was wrong.
"You forgot your jacket, dumb ass," said Tre while throwing me my jacket.
"Yeah, thanks," I replied in the same tone, "I figured you would just let your dog destroy it since you don't care about all my other stuff."
Tre rolled his eyes and walked off.
Stupid fucker. I should just go solo...
