The Truth About Dogs, chapter 17
The doctors brought me into a room that looked similar to the BasketCase music video... well, except for the people in masks and strange balloon thingies.
And I didn't see any fish... That was good, I guess.
They introduced me to the people I would be staying with for the next few months.
There was Jason, the egoistical maniac that thought he was a superhero, and tried to jump off the top of a building to prove he could fly.
There was Kiki, the girl that was extremely obsessed with some band... So much that she beat her head in with a stereo to get a ticket to their show.
There was also some really strange girl named Shauna. She had some weird thing with her hands. Every ten minutes, she would scream about aliens popping out of them.
Some guy that called himself Fox was there as well. He actually thought he was a fox... named Todd... and had a hound dog named Copper as his best friend. I don't know about you, but that sounds a bit too Disney for me.
Last, but not least, was a girl by the name of Fallyn. She was pretty cool, for an insane chick. She had been committed after her father caught her screaming at some posters to shut up.
Comparing myself to them, I could see where I could be considered as crazy, but honestly, my story's real. You all know it is.
Anyway, so I had to endure this institution and with the best of my personality. I wanted to get out. I had to stop Pecker. After about a week, during one of my weekly group therapy discussions, some secret service looking men came into the asylum.
The head nurse, looking confused, walked up to them.
"Can I help you gentlemen?"
"Yes, we're looking for a Billie Joe Armstrong. It's, uh, top secret."
All heads turned to me as the secret service dudes walked over.
"Mr. Armstrong- please come with us."
