The Truth About Dogs, chapter 9

The EMT stared at me and just nodded his head. I think he really was going to call the loony-catcher until Tre showed up, and told him about the dog. The EMT nodded his head again, and after finishing attending to me, he walked away.

Tre stared at me with sympathetic eyes.

"I'm sorry, Billie. He wasn't meaning to."

I just glared at Tre, "You're still taking that dog's side?!?! Tre! He tried to kill me with a car door!"

"He tried to hurt Princess," I mumbled. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Mike and Rob standing there watching. Tre walked over to me, grabbed Princess out of my arms, and started to walk away with her.

"What are you doing to my cat?!?" I yelled at Tre while following him.

Tre didn't say anything. He just walked...

...into the men's bathroom.

"Don't you dare!" I yelled as Tre slammed the door shut and locked it. I could hear a soft plop, a faucet being turned on, and then a very pissed off YEOW!

My poor little Princess...
