Just a Dream..., chapter 2
A couple days later I received a call from someone who sounded familiar but I couldn't quite figure out who it was. So they said come over tomorrow. I just lay awake in my bed trying to figure out who it was. When I eventually went to sleep I had another Green Day dream. It was just a normal old went to a concert with backstage passes and met them all. I woke up very happily seeing I had a good dream. You see I absolutely love Green Day, so those types of dreams make me happy. So I took a shower brushed my hair and got dressed for the day. I took one last yawn and went to the kitchen to get some cereal. "Don't forget about your job today." My dad reminded me because sometimes I can't remember well. (more like I pretend not to remember it.) After I was done with breakfast I called my friend and talked to her for about an hour. Once I hung up it was about three o' clock. I then went up in my room and popped in a Green Day CD while I wrote some songs. Once that was done I looked at the clock and it now read five o' clock. I grabbed all of the things necessary for the job tonight, (including my CD player) and headed out the door. I followed the directions to the house. When I looked up at the house and my eyes widened. I knew this house. I just froze there a minute and shook it off as I walked up to the front door. I rang the door bell and Billie Joe answered. "So you must be the baby sitter" he told me and directed me inside. 'It must've been Adrienne on the phone!' I thought realizing Adrienne had called most likely for me to baby-sit Jakob. Joey was spending the night at his friend's house and Billie Joe and Adrienne were going out. "Hello!" Adrienne greeted me with a warm smile. "Hi." I replied back grinning a little nervously. 'Is this really happening to me? No it must be real or I would've woken up.' I thought. "Here are the emergency numbers if anything happens." She said handing a list of various numbers to me. I smiled and nodded. "Thank you again." Adrienne said. "No problem." I replied. Then Billie Joe and Adrienne walked out the door closing it behind them. At first Jakob and I were a little skeptical. After about five minutes of just staring at each other we decided to watch a movie. I let him pick the movie while I got the popcorn and drinks. He smiled at me when I eventually sat back down giving him his snacks. So we finished up the movie and once I turned the lights back on there was popcorn everywhere. We both started to laugh because we got in a huge popcorn fight in the middle of the movie. "Where do you keep your vacuum?" I asked knowing the popcorn wasn't going to get clean by sitting there. So he gave me the vacuum and I cleaned up our 'little mess'. It was around time for dinner. I sighed looking for some food. "What do you want to eat Jakob?" I asked. "Pizza is fine." He said kindly. I nodded smiling as I stuck the pizza in the oven waiting for it to heat up. I got on the computer while he played some videogames. The timer rang and I got the pizza. I cut it up and called him over for dinner. He paused his game and came over for dinner.
