Starting To Lose It!, chapter 2
Billie Joe stared at himself in the mirror, his best friend looking at him in the reflection. He'd spent so long convincing them he'd changed and now he was gonna have to tell them how royally he'd screwed up.
"There was a girl..." he began but he was stopped when Mike started laughing. "There's always a girl, I knew you couldnt stick to Adrienne! You never did know when you were better off." Tre looked over at Mike and said "Keep your mouth shut! You couldnt exactly keep your wife happy, thats why she left you remember!" He turned back to Billie Joe and said "How far'd you let it go?" Billie Joe turned to face his friend, the guy who'd stuck by him when Adrienne had walked out the first time and sighed, "All the way!" Disappointment crossed Tre's face "Fuck Billie Joe! You're a fuckin' idiot, you have an amazing wife and you still can't help screwing around!" Billie Joe felt the anger welling up inside him, "What do you know? You have it all! Nice house, great wife, great kids, what do you know about anything!"
Mike walked over and joined them, "Guys chill out, we can fix this! We're the only ones that know so all we have to do is keep our mouths shut and Adrienne wont have to find out! You can do that right?"
Billie Joe nodded but inside he couldnt help thinking that it wasnt as simple as Mike made it sound.
