Green Day, chapter 2
Katie came out of the shower and asked ''what's wrong?'' ‘‘There’s this news report on TV and it said were wasting the night away getting drunk'' replied Billie Joe ''that’s crazy'' '' why the hell would someone say that about you guys?'' I don't know maybe they've got a problem with us three'' said Billie Joe ''we need to put a stop to this once and for all''. So Billie, Mike, Tre and Katie all went down to see the person in charge of the news report '' what’s the problem'' he asked ''you are'' replied Mike leaning over him he then got up of his seat and tried to get away but Mike stopped him and locked threw door from inside ''what the hells wrong with you let me out '' he said "I'm afraid we can’t do that and started punching him in the face 5 times then Billie and Tre joined while they were fighting Katie was looking around the room for clues. She saw a tape of GREEN DAY in the video recorder and took it out ''Hey guys I've found something she said, let's go then Billie Joe, Mike, Tre and Katie all went and left the man in charge all bruised and swollen in his office. When they got back to the hotel Billie Joe went into his room and pulled a box out from under his bed. In the box there was pictures of Katie that she left in his room lying around.
He took a picture of Katie out of the box and looked at it ''she's so pretty'' he thought. Just then mike knocked on the door ''come in'' he said ''what are you doing?'' he asked ''oh nothing'' trying to hide the photo behind him. ''I was just wondering what do you want for dinner?'' he said ''I haven’t decided yet replied Billie Joe. As mike shut the door behind him Billie Joe pulled out the photo of Katie from behind him and looked at it again. After he put the photo back in the box and pushed it under the bed. He then lay down on his bed thinking about Katie ''I really like her''. He thought to himself and got up off his bed and went to the bathroom he knocked on the door ''who's there a voice answered ''Hey it's me Billie Joe ''can I use the bathroom?'' sure answered Katie as she came out of the bathroom with only a towel around her. Billie Joe stood there '''speechless'' until Katie said ''I thought you needed to use the bathroom?'' ''I do he replied. After she left. Billie Joe shut the bathroom door and picked up the shampoo off the shelf then decided to wash his hair. After he'd finished. He went down stairs in the kitchen were mike was looking in the fridge for some pizza, ''Hey do you want some pizza it's your favorite he said ''yeah alright'' replied Billie just then Katie came down the stairs and went into the living room to watch TV ''would you like some pizza'' asked Billie Joe ''sure I'd love some she said. After everybody had their pizza mike and Tre both went out while Billie Joe and Katie were alone together in the apartment. As they were watching a film together Billie Joe couldn’t help himself but to look at Katie. She then looked at him ''your so pretty'' he said as he was looking in her eyes.
‘‘Your not so bad yourself'' replied Katie he then brushed her hair aside and touched her face then he leaned across to kiss her. ‘‘This is wrong'' ''we can't do this'' she said ''but I really like you'' he said just after he'd spoke she leaned across and kissed him back then they both went into his room and took off their clothes. She then went into his bed with him and they had sex. After Katie and Billie had sex. Billie Joe decided to get out of bed and get himself changed into some clean clothes while Katie on the other hand decided to get dressed herself and went back down stairs. As Billie Joe came down the stairs mike and Tre walked in ''back so soon'' said Katie ''yeah we're board'' replied mike and Tre when all of a sudden it was quiet in the room as Billie Joe and Katie looked at each other with a smile across their faces. ‘I don't know about you, but I think those two have been up to something'' ''nah they couldn’t have'' replied Tre. Billie Joe decided to head down the shop and picked up a packet of cigarettes for himself and on his way back to the hotel he saw Katie sitting watching, mike on the phone, Tre in the kitchen doing his supper. So Billie Joe then decided to go up stairs in his room and put a CD on. The CD he was playing was him and the guys with AMERICAN IDIOT. So Billie Joe got up and started singing to their song. When all of a sudden mike and Tre walked in ''Hey can we join in'' said both mike and Tre ''yeah sure,
''I just practicing ready for when were on stage'' replied Billie. So while Billie Joe, mike and Tre were all practicing in Billie Joe’s room Katie sneaked up the stairs very quietly and went to Billie’s room to hear what was going on. She opened the door slightly and saw the three guys practicing their song ''sorry to interrupted, ''but would any one like a cup of tea or coffee?’ she asked ''I would like one please'' replied Billie Joe ''me too'' said both mike and Tre. As Katie went back down the stairs mike, Billie and Tre went back to what they were doing ''you know what, why don't we rehearse our songs in the basement'' added mike ''great idea'' that way we can practice in our spare time'' replied Billie Tre then said changing the (topic) ''when's our next concert take place'' ''oh it's some were between January 25 to April 12th 2005 replied mike. Mike, Billie Joe, Tre went down to their old basement were they used to practice. '' It’s full of cob webs down here'' '' what if there's spiders down there'', ''I hate spiders''? Mumbled Tre. Mike went to check in the basement for any spiders ''nope no spiders here he said ''thank god replied Tre.
Billie Joe pulled out from a box in the basement his guitar ''I love this guitar it's my favorite'' he said ''isn't that the one your dad got you'' yeah it was the last present he gave me before he passed away replied Billie Joe checking the string on his guitar isn’t out of tune. Mike lifted a box from the top of an old cupboard in the basement and pulled out his guitar while Tre was looking around the basement for his drum kit. '' Ah I've found it'' he added Billie Joe and mike waited for Tre to get himself ready. ‘‘Right I'm ready'' he said, ok let's get this show on the road. They started with American idiot and finished with Whatsername. When Billie Joe got back to the hotel he Katie asleep on the couch ''Shhhh you guys try not make a sound'' said Billie as they were coming through the door. Billie walked across to her and kissed her on the head a voice said quietly ''what's that for''
'' It’s to show how much I love you'' replied Billie Joe. ''I made you guys a cup of tea but it's probably gone cold now'' she said ''any way I think I'm gonna go bed'' he said taking a glass of water with him. ''I think I might join you'' night guys, yeah night replied both mike and Tre as they were sitting on the couch watching football and eating pizza at the same time. As Billie Joe was about to go in his room ''can I stay with you tonight'' she asked, ''of course you can'' '' is it to do with what happened between us the other night'' he asked '' yes it is, it's what me and you had that meant something to me'' she said '' so are we friends or more than friends?’ he asked ''more than friends I hope'' replied Katie
As Billie Joe sat down on his bed Katie looked under his bed to find a box with her photo's in it and a note saying ''I always love you no matter what'' it's the note my grandmother give me before she passed away. ''I've been looking for it'' she said Katie and Billie both got into bed and as they were laying together Billie Joe brushed her hair aside and said ''so would you be my girlfriend'' ''sure ok '' she said Billie then moved up closer to her and put his arms around her. Tre and mike both sneaked up stairs to Billie Joe’s room and opened his door very quietly ''Shhhh she's asleep'' he said watching her sleep peacefully. ‘‘What do you guys want'' whispering '' can I borrow your headphones and personal stereo'' yeah sure it's on top of the cupboard'' replied Billie Joe. So both mike and Tre went into their bedrooms and shut the door behind them.
