Dixon, chapter 1

"Hey look at that girl... " My friend leaned over and said to me. She had long dark drown hair and she was pretty. She was wearing a black studded belt with a big rectangle AC/DC buckle and converse hi-tops. When she had her back toward us I noticed a tattoo of a guitar on her lower back right where her pants and shirt met, well if she wasn't wearing such a small shirt. The shirt she was wearing came above her belly button, which was pierced. Some other guys sitting close to us whistled at her and she turned and gave a little smile to them but kept on walking.
She was heading toward the exit and for some odd reason I followed her, from a distance though. She stopped in front of a pop machine and bought a water from it. I watched as she twisted the white cap open and drink some. She looked like she belonged on a commercial by the way she drank.
The sun was beaming down just right making her dark hair glisten in the light. She glanced over and her piercing green eyes awed me. I stood watching her as she smiled a little at me then walked off. As soon as she exited through the glass doors I strode up to them and gazed off at her. She was walking up to a 69' Mach 1 Mustang. I wasn't thinking of what she would be driving, but I didn't expect it to have that much horsepower. She flipped her hair around, then stepped down into the drivers seat and shut the door.
Billie Joe had come up behind me and was alert like I was. "Wow... " He said.
"She's a regular here." The bartender notified us. "I could put a good word in, me and her are good friends." The bartender smiled at us a little for his favor.
"No, that's ok... " I assured him.
"Oh? If your lookin for a girl, trust me, you won't find anyone as good as her." He told us while cleaning a glass.
"No, that's okay, Were not from here. Why did she buy water from the pop machine if she's at a bar?" I asked him.
"She doesn't drink,..... Often. She's a healthy person so she only drinks on occasion. Why are you guys visiting a shit hole town like this?" He said still looking at his glass.
"But she hangs out at a bar?" I still wondered, ignoring why we were visiting.
"I said occasion. Guys are one of those occasions, and there are a lot of guys that come in here lookin for a girl like her."
"So, she does drink?" He looked up at me and set his glass down.
"You certainly are interested in her." I studied him for a second then waved and walked through the exit doors with Billie following me.
