CIA, chapter 4
Me and Mike were just bashing each other with pillows as Tre, Jesse and Billie Joe watched in amusement. Mike tackled me down on the floor and hit me with the pillow. Just then Billie Joe joined in and smacked Mike with the pillow. Then Tre whacked Billie Joe with a pillow. I hit Billie Joe with a pillow and he fell over onto his back and pulled me down with him. I sat there gazing into his eyes and drifting away when Tre shouted, "DOG PILE ON BILLIE JOE AND TELINA!" Soon all of them were smashing us into the ground. They all soon got off and we were all laughing.
"Guys I'm bored." I announced after another moment of silence.
"Hey you know what I am too." Tre sided with me.
Billie Joe looked toward the door and then yelled out "Catch me if you can!" And ran out the door. I chased after him and jumped on his back.
"Where are we going?" I asked him as he was giving me a piggy back ride.
"You'll see." He said and turned another corner. Billie Joe lost the guys a little while back and he stopped and took a rest. I hopped off his back.
"Okay, come on again." Billie Joe said as he took my hand and we were off. I followed him all around the building until we reached the instrument room. The room that Jesse had first shown me. Billie Joe waved a pass in front of the door scanner and the door clicked. He pulled it open and let me walk in first. As soon as I got in I stood there and looked around at all of the many guitars. Billie Joe walked up to a red Gibson guitar and plugged it in. I watched him for a second, and then, behind him I saw my dream guitar. A black flying V. I ran over to it and picked it up. Billie Joe didn't know what I was doing. I surprised him when I went to plug it in and put the strap over my shoulder.
"Whoa, you play?" He asked me shocked.
"Of course." I replied and smiled.
"Sweet man... Here, take my backup." He told me.
"No, I don't play backup for anyone." I said as I started to play 'Waiting' giving it a little more blues twist to it. Billie Joe stared at me for a second until he noticed his que to come in and get the main, normal, riffs.
Soon Mike, Tre, and Jesse arrived at the room were standing outside peering in the window. Mike scanned his ID and walked into the room. I stopped to look up at them.
"No dude keep going. That was awesome." Mike praised me.
"Yeah, I've never seen anyone make Billie Joe play backup to his own songs." Tre snickered.
Mike grabbed a bass and started playing along. Tre feeling left out, went over to a drum set and played with us. To my surprise, Jesse also went over and picked up a bass and played along.
"JESSE! Why didn't you tell me you could play bass?!" I asked him anxiously.
"I don't know." He told me and then started playing.
I shrugged my shoulders and began the song from the beginning. Everyone picked up on my new riff very fast. It was awesome playing it, we were all right on the same page together.
"Dude go get mic." Mike told Billie Joe.
"Get me one too!" I yelled back to him. All the guys turned to look at me with weird faces. "What, I can sing too." I said and smiled.
Billie Joe brought me out a mic, but I could tell none of the guys believed me. I started playing another blues riff to 'Hitchin' A Ride' and when it was time, me and Billie Joe both began to sing. He kept nervously looking over at me waiting for one of us to screw up. Tre, Mike and Jesse soon were too. To everyone's surprise, Billie Joe was the one to screw up, he missed a line.
"HAHA BILLIE JOE YOU LOST!" Tre blurted out. Billie Joe just looked down and the ground.
"Wait a second... So is Green Day real? Or is it all fake?" I said getting scared.
"Oh, don't worry, were real. Green Day is deffinatly real.
"oh, ok good.. I was scared. So, uh.. What do I get for winning." I said smiling.
Tre got a mischievous look on his face and took off down the hallway shouting "WHIPPED CREAM PARTY!"
We all set down our guitars and took off after him.
