Transplanted, chapter 1

"Jenny get up you're running late".

It was just another day in just another week of living in the beaten up town of Cary, Kansas. I had been living here for just over 6 months. My parents thought it would be a learning experience and a great way to meet new people. I just thought it was a waste of time. But they would learn. A trillion miles away from home was not how I was going to stay...

"Coming Mother" was forced out of my mouth.

I grapped my bookbag and my eyeliner. Putting in on with glee. I new what I had to do. And I had to do it as soon as I could.

"Have fun at school hunny! I'll be home when you get home. I LOOOOOOOOOVVVVEEEE you."

Those were the last sounds I heard out of her as I closed the door of the car. I could feel the burn of a thousand eyes on me. For once I wish she would let me ride with some one or let me drive...But to do that she would have to trust me and that would never happen cause they just don't like me they never have. I couldn't do anything about that. I could only make it worse by trying to make it better. For example...the car crash after taking my little brother to the mall....hanging with my friends....the list goes on. The stupid motto of this family is fake it till you make it cause thats all we do. The show tonight might blow off some steam. I hadn't seen my friends in forever and I knew they were going. I just had to be "good" enough for 10 more hours and the glory would be mine.

The seconds and minutes were geting slower over the whole day. I couldn't wait to get out and have a great time...

Smart of me to ask and just not go.

She said no...
She said I don't know them...
She said go away...
She said I don't want you around them...

I would fine away maybe my dad would come home tonight, she would change her mind, or I would have to break out.
