You Can Tell Me Anything, chapter 2
Billie Joe awoke to the sound of an annoying alarm clock. "What is that noise?!" he yelled over the blaring noise of the alarm clock. Just then Anna walked in and hit a button that turned it off. "It's called an alarm clock, Billie Joe, something you wouldn't know about. I have to go to school, ya know." Anna joked. Billie Joe noticed it was now 7:30 in the morning. "Oh, my god, i dont know how you deal with it." Billie Joe mumbled into his pillow. "Make sure that thing is off so i dont have to wake up to it again!" "Okay...well I'm gonna go get ready now...later!" she said to Billie Joe. "Mhmm..." Billie Joe said, half asleep. Anna had already got dressed. She was wearing a black shirt that fit perfect and said 'THE CLASH' in big letters, a pair of blue jeans and her black converses. She went in to say bye a second time to Billie, but he was already asleep.
Anna was the only one awake in the house. She had a half an hour left until school and it only took her a couple minutes to walk there cuz the Armstrongs only lived a couple blocks away. So she decided to get some toast and a glass of orange juice. Then she heard someone coming down the stairs, which made her jump. She saw it was Billie Joe and was very surprised. "Well hey there, sleepy!" she teased. "Shut up." he said, "Your stupid alarm clock made it so i cant sleep...if you ever stay in my room again, no more alarm clocks." he moaned, seriously.
Anna left for school 10 minutes later. It was just another day of school. Same people. Same classes. Same teachers. She HATED it. She couldn't wait to get back home to have someone to talk to. At lunch, Anna would sit at the table farthest to the back, by herself. She didnt mind it too much, she liked being by herself...sometimes. But then a boy came up to her and asked "Is this seat taken?" He had the cutest smile she had ever seen. Blonde hair, pretty tall. 'Cute...' Anna thought. "Umm...nope. Go ahead, take a seat." The boy sat down and introduced himself. "I'm Ben. Who are you, haven't seen you around here, you new?" "Actually, no, I'm not new, i try not to really get noticed around here, its not all that bad." Anna said, "Oh, and I'm Anna" "Hello Anna, Nice to meet you." "Yeah, nice to meet you too." Anna said smiling, she didnt like him, did she? "Well, Anna, what's your next class?" Ben asked her.
"Math...you?" Anna said.
"I have math too...you sit towards the back?" Ben asked
"Yep...3rd row."
"Wow...I didn't even noticed that you sat right beside me!" Ben laughed,
"Would you wanna walk to class with me?" Ben continued.
"Sure...that'd be nice" Smiled Anna.
The bell rung and Ben took Anna's plate for her. "Thanks..." She said. "No Problem!" he smiled.
After math, school would be over. Anna found out she had 3 classes with Ben.
"See ya tomorrow." Ben said. "Yep...see ya tomorrow." Anna said.
Anna came to Billie Joes house to Billie Joe sleeping on the couch. Anna threw a pillow at him to wake him up.
"What are you doing home so early?!" Billie Joe asked.
"Billie Joe, its 3:30! Loser..."
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!"
"Yeah, what's wrong...?"
"Ohhh man...i was supposed to jam with the guys at 1:30...i wonder whats wrong with them...i dont get up that early...Do you wanna come with??"
"Uhh...i got loads of homework."
"Get it done tonight!" Billie pleaded with her
"Umm...okay...fine..."
Anna went upstairs and put her backpack down on Billie Joe's floor. She remembered she had her own house that she lived in...she had to go check in with her dad. Just to see if he was okay.
Anna ran downstairs and waited for Billie Joe to get his stuff ready.
Billie packed his stuff into the car and drove to Mikes house. When they got there, there was a girl who was sitting with Mike on one couch and Tre sitting by himself, playing a little handheld solitare game, on the other one. Billie Joe went and hit Tre in the head and made Tre drop the game on the floor, which broke into a couple of pieces. "What did you do that for?!" Tre yelled. Mike, Billie, Anna and the girl just started laughing. Tre got up and went to the drums. Mike went and grabbed his bass and Billie picked up his guitar. They started to play, so Anna went and sat down by the girl.
Anna decided to introduce herself. "Hi, I'm Anna, nice to meet you." Anna stuck out her and to the girl. "Hello, I'm Lauren. Nice to meet you too." The girl was very pretty. Long, blonde curly hair that framed her face perfectly. "Sooo...are you Mikes girlfriend?" Anna asked. "Well...i dont know....i guess i'd say we're friends with benafits." Lauren smiled. "Oooh...okay."
The rest of the night, Anna and Lauren sat and talked and listened to the boys play their songs. After they were done, Mike came over to Lauren and said something to her and kissed her on the cheek. Billie Joe packed up his stuff and asked Anna "Ready to go?" Anna said bye to Lauren, Mike and Tre and hugged each of them. She was glad she had some friends now...She thought life was going to be fine.
But everything wasnt going to be okay....
