Camp Green, chapter 1
Chapter 1 - Camp Green
''You ready to go? '' Yelled my mom from downstairs.
''Hold on.''
I grabbed my suitcase and backpack and walked down the stairs.
''You got everything? ''
''Yeah.''
We walked out to her car and got in and headed to the bus station. When we got there, I gave her a hug and said,
''Bye.''
''Bye.''
I put my suitcase in the bus and got in and sat next to Emily, my best friend.
''Hey.'' She said.
''Hey.''
''You excited? ''
''Yeah, I just wanna know who's going to be in my cabin.''
Then across the isle, sat Beau and Haden.
''Look who's sitting across the isle.'' I whispered. She looked and said,
''Oh cool. ''
I dug around in my backpack and found my cd player and put on the headphones and listened to International Superhits.
~1 Hour Later~
''Are we there yet? '' Yelled Emily.
''No. ''
''Dangit. How much longer? ''
''Like two hours. ''
''Oh. That's not too bad. ''
~2 Hours Later~
''Now are we there yet?''
''Yes will you shut up about it!''
I looked out the window and we were on a gravel road, surrounded by trees. Then there was like a big area and I could see cabins and stuff like that.
''Omigod Green Day!'' Yelled Emily. I looked and sure enough, Green Day was greeting us in.
''Awsome.''
The bus stopped and then they came in and stood in the front and Billie said,
''Hey welcome to Camp Green everybody! Are you ready for the best freakin summer of your freakin lives?! ''
We cheered and he said,
''Then go somewhere else! Naw i'm joking. Um when you get out, head over to the campfire place and we'll get you into your cabins.''
We stood up and when I went to stand in the isle, I bumped into somebody. I looked up, and it was Beau that I ran into. I could feel my face turn bright red as I said, ''Sorry.''
''It's okay.''
When I got out, I met back up with Emily and we both said,
''Yes!''
We walked over to where Billie told us to and sat on a log that was in the front. While everyone else was sitting down, I said,
''I didn't know that Green Day was gonna be the ''surprise camp instructors'' like the brochure said. How awsome! ''
''Yeah.''
Then Tre walked by and Emily whispered,
''Lookie there's Tre.''
''I know shut up.''
