Camp Green, chapter 2
Chapter 2 - Camp Green
So we got into our cabins, and Emily and I got stuck with Elizabeth and Amanda, two people we do not like what-so-ever. Our cabin leader, however, Adrienne was really nice. After we got settled in, Adrienne said,
''Alright I'm supposed to show you guys around the camp so let's go.''
We followed her outside and she showed us around. The place was HUGE! It was awesome cause anywhere there was a speaker, there was music playing on it. (like good music)
''And over there is Crystal Lake.''
I looked over and at the dock were boats and jet-skis.
''Do we get to ride in the boat?''
''Yup. And we have jet-ski races too.''
''Awesome.''
I love to ride jet-skis, so I thought that was pretty cool. After our tour of the place, it was time for lunch. We headed to the dining hall and as we ate, Emily said,''This place is awesome.''
''You said it. The only thing I don't like is that we're in a cabin with Elizabeth and Amanda.''
''Yeah. But regardless of that, we're gonna have a great summer.''
''Yeah.''
Then Beau and Haden walked over and Beau said to me,
''Is this seat taken?''
''No.''
''Cool.''
He sat in the vacant spot next to me and Haden sat next to Emily. Emily gave me look like, 'omigod I can't believe this is happening'. I gave one back that was like,'I know'. After we ate, Haden said,
''Uh Emily can I talk to you for a sec?''
''Um okay.''
They got up and walked away, leaving Beau and I alone together. Beau went and sat across the table from me and said,
''Soooo...'' trying to make conversation.
''Who's in your cabin?'' He asked.
''Emily, Elizabeth and Amanda and Adrienne is our cabin leader.''
''Cool. I have Haden, Kevin, and Sergio and Mike's our cabin leader.''
''Cool.''
I looked down at my hands and he said,
''Can I ask you something?''
I looked up and said,
''Sure.''
''Will you..um..'' He said nervously.
''Will I um..what?''
''Never mind.''
''Okay.''
We didn't say anything for a minute until he scratched the back of his neck and said,''Aww why am I waiting! Will you go out with me?''
Surprised, I said,
''Um..well sure I guess.''
He got a smile on his face and I smiled back. God his smile was hot.
''Attention all campers will you please head on over to the campfire place or whatever it's called. Thank you.'' Said Tré's voice over the speakers. So we got up and walked over. I met up with Emily and she said,
''You will never believe what just happened!''
''What?''
''Haden asked me out!''
''Really? That's awesome. Guess what?''
''What?''
''Beau asked me out.''
''Cool. I don't think this summer can get any better!''
