Camp Green, chapter 27

After Green Day's break, they played King For A Day, Hitchin' A Ride, Basket Case, Longview and When I Come Around. Once they were done, everyone went around and signed each other's camp schedule. When Tre signed mine, he put a phone number and wrote "Call me, Tre Cool." I then signed his, and put my number and wrote "Call me-Nicole." We gave each other's back and he gave me a hug and said "Take care of yourself."

"You too." We then went our separate ways. Once everyone was done, we went and packed our stuff. Before we knew it, the bus that brought us to Camp Green pulled up. We put our suitcases in the outside compartments and got in. Once everyone was situated, Green Day stood by the windows and waved and said bye as the bus pulled away. Once we were on the freeway, Emily said,"So did you have fun this summer?"

"Hell yeah."

"Me too." I then looked at my camp schedule. Emily looked at it too, and said
"Whose number is that?"

"Oh...no one's."

"Okay." I stared out my window as I slowly fell asleep.

"Nicole wake up."

"Huh?" I sat up, and Emily said, "We're back home."

"Oh."

The bus stopped, and we got out and got our stuff. I walked over to my Mom's car, and she got out and said,"Didja have fun?"

"Yeah."

I put my stuff in the trunk and got in the car. Once we were back home, my cell rang. I went up in my room and answered it.

"Yeah?"

"Hey Nicole? It's Tre."

"Oh hey what's up?"

"Not much. Just got back home."

"Me too." I yawned and he asked

"You tired?"

"Yeah. I fell asleep on the way home."

My mom peeked her head in the door and asked,"Who ya talking to?"

"Someone I met at camp." She nodded and went out.

"Who was that?" Tre asked.

"My mom."

"Oh."

"Can I ask you something?"

"Of course."

"How did you know that I was going to jump off of that bridge?"

"Well, I just happened to be riding by, then I saw you get off and walk up on the bridge and stand on the rail."

"Oh. Well I gotta go."

"Okay. Talk to ya later."

"Bye."

"Bye."

I hung up, and took a nap.
