Cat And Billie Joe, chapter 18

They next morning Cat found Billie Joe packing some things in a box.
"Why, such a nice young man he is." She sat up in bed and smiled at him. He chuckled at her and continued packing.
"Now, I know how you pack Billie," Cat laughed to herself before adding, "And it's not very good." He smirked at her and stood up.
"Well, I'm hungry. Lets go get something to eat. My treat." He said, stretching.

The week had passed, Cat was packed, and they were both set in the car, ready to drive her to her parent's house.
"Ready?" Billie whispered. Cat nodded. She didn't really want to leave. This had been the best time of her life. Apart from being with Billie Joe, that is. He drove out of the parking lot and they rode in silence for a few minutes.
"Billie?" Cats said.
"Hmm" He looked at her for a fraction of a second before looking back at the road.
"Why were you here? On my graduation day I mean."
"I was... My cousin goes here, right? Anyway, she told me that it was graduation day, and I figured it out, and so I came... I came to watch you graduate." He blushed a bit. He sounded like a stalker.
"That's sweet. A little weird though." She teased, ruffling his hair.
He smirked at her a little.
"So... Cat. Can I ask you a question now?" He looked at her, but then switched his eyes back to the road.
"Sure. Shoot." She cocked her head at him slightly, wondering what he wanted to ask.
"Do you... Do you want to move in with me again? I know, we only just started up our kind of 'friendship' again." He sighed.
"Sorry Billie. But when we first got together... we moved a little fast, you know? He nodded.
"I don't want to do that again. Lets start out as friends... okay?" She whispered. He nodded again, and sighed.

They pulled into the driveway, and Billie shut the motor off. He helped her bring all of the things to her room.
"Do you want a drink or something?" Cat asked him, about an hour later.
He shook his head.
"I should probably go." He head towards the door.
"You sure? We can hang out a little if you want." She looked at him with pleading eyes. He shook his head.
"We have practice tomorrow." He opened the door, with Cat behind him. She held the door. He started to walk out the door.
"Wait." Cat said, as she grabbed his collar and pulled him to her, his face centimeters from hers.
"I've wanted to do this all week." She closed the gap between their lips, holding the back of his neck, the other hand laced with his fingers. He wrapped his free arm around her waist pulling her as close as she could get. The broke apart after several minutes, panting. He rested his forehead against hers.
"Wow... I'm glad you did that. I felt like dying." He whispered.
"Come on." She took his hand and pulled him up the stairs with her.
"What are we doing?" He asked.
"Having a sleepover." She whispered, giggling. They climbed the rest of the stairs and she slipped her pants off, and he did the same, but took his shirt off also. They slipped under the covers, and Billie wrapped his arms around her. Cat smiled to herself, closing her eyes.

"Mmmm... " Billie rolled over on his back, one arm behind his head. Cat was already up; he could hear the shower going. He closed his eyes again.

"Billie... . Billie... Get up! It's late!" Cat shook him gently. He looked up at her, and smiled. He hair fell in front of her face, like a frame, and she had a huge smile on her face.
"Morning Sleeping Beauty." She sat on the edge of her bed, back facing him.
"Morning... What time is it?" He sat up, facing her back.

She turned around.
"It's almost noon, and I want to go out and take pictures if you want to come with me... " She cocked her head to the side, waiting for his answer.
"Sure... Where are we going to go?"
"I dunno... Oh! I've wanted to get pictures from the top of Coat Tower, and of it. Is that okay?"
"Yeah. Let me pee and stuff... and then... " He trailed off. He got up and went into the bathroom.

"Cat went over to her desk where her laptop was sitting, and started it up. She played around a little bit while waiting for Billie Joe. When he was finished, they went downstairs together.
"Morning Honey... " He mom said, not even glancing up from her newspaper. Cat rolled her eyes.
"Any mail for me?" Cat asked her mom, in which she nodded.
"Where is it?" Cat asked. Her mother pointed to the mantelpiece. Cat walked over and sorted through some of it, finding a letter from some photography place. She ripped it open, sitting on the couch. Billie sat on the armrest, reading over her shoulder, she didn't mind.
"Ha!"-She jumped up-"They want to have an interview with me and see some of my work!" Billie stood up.
"Congratulations Cat." She hugged him, planting a kiss on his cheek.
"Come on! I have to take lots and lots of pictures now!" She grabbed his hand and her purse and pulled him out of the house with her. They opened the car doors and sat down inside. Cat rummaged through some junk on the ground and found her Operation Ivy CD and popped it into the CD player, full blast as they drove down to Coat Tower. She sang to all of the songs, and she knew all the words. The whole time both Billie and Cat smiled. Cat, because she was getting an interview, and Billie because she was so happy.

She pulled up to some random parking lot, and jumped put, not waiting for Billie Joe.

He found her snapping pictures of the landscape, and her sat down on the railing. His mid started to wonder until he saw flashing in his direction.
"Cat!" He stood up.
"Yes?" She smiled at him, almost guiltily.
"You were taking pictures of me... how many did you take?"
"You never said I couldn't, and um... probably about eight or so... Maybe more." She turned and started taking more pictures, then stopped so the film could wind it self up, then put new film in.

About half an hour, and seven or so film rolls, she was done. She got some great pictures of Coit Tower itself, and pictures of the landscape form Coit Tower, and also of Billie.
