Cat And Billie Joe, chapter 20
Billie Joe groaned into the pillow, waking up from his slumber. He rolled over to that he was facing Cat, whose face was buried in her pillow. He shook her gently. Nothing. He whispered her name and shook her gently. She groaned, and flipped him off, which made Billie Joe smile.
"You woke me up... You bastard." She joked.
"At least I'm a cute bastard... Right?" He put on a cute smile as she turned to look at him.
"No... "—He stopped for a moment, but she carried on-"You're a sexy one." She smiled, pulling his face to hers and kissing him, softly. She pulled away, stood up, and went to the bathroom. He sat there, gaping at her. She always left him guessing what she would do next. He shook his head and smiled.
Billie sat on the couch, in his boxers, flipping through the channels. Cat walked out of her room, hair still wet from the shower, with black shorts, that hugged her ass as Billie noticed, and a black wife-beater on. She sat down next to Billie, resting her head on his shoulder. He yawned, raising his arms over his head and rested his arms around her shoulders, which made Cat giggle.
"The Art of Subtlety, By Billie Joe," Cat said.
"Yeah..." He shrugged.
Later that day, Billie Joe had gone to practice with Tre and Mike. Cat was out taking more pictures, but she finished early. Billie had said that if she finished in time, she could come over and watch them if she wanted, which she did.
She knocked on the door, but no one answered, and she found it to be unlocked. She walked in and heard Billie singing.
"Some days he feels like dying
She gets so sick of crying
She's all alone again / Wiping the tears from her eyes / Some days he feels like dying / Some days it's not worth trying / Now that they both are finding / She gets so sick of crying / She's an Extraordinary girl... "
"Hey you guys!" Billie stopped singing as soon as she walked in.
"That was great, why'd you stop?" She asked.
"Because, eh.. B-Because... " He stuttered a bit, looking at his shoes, his cheeks turning a bit pink.
"'Cause it's about you!" Tre shouted before Mike could cover his mouth all the way.
"Really?" She was flattered he wrote a song about her. How sweet. Billie nodded in response, which made Cat smile. She walked over to his and kissed him on the cheek.
"Can I hear all of it?" She breathed into his ear. He couldn't say no... He actually couldn't think quiet straight when she did that. He nodded and signaled for Tre and Mike to start playing.
"Wow...," Cat said as he finished the song. "I don't know what to say... " She covered her hand with her mouth.
"Well, it's not... I dunno... " He was glad she liked it, just a bit embarrassed. Mike and Tre went out of the room to get some drinks for everyone.
Cat walked over to him, slipping her arms around his neck and kissing him hard on the mouth, which he returned. He soon backed her up against the wall, hand in her hair.
"Billie... " He started to kiss her neck.
"They might come back soon... " She whispered. He grinned.
"So?" She grinned into his neck and kissed it. He then moved his face up to hers, kissing her again. Each kiss became harder, and more, well, almost needy.
"Fuck you guys! We were only gone, for like, two minutes, and you're practically fucking each other!" Tre bangs the door open, tossing each a beer as they pull apart. Cat grinned into her can as she took a sip.
"Come one Tre, quit with that lame-ass crooked smile... " Cat let her camera fall to her side, as she cocked her head at Tre.
"Hey! This lame ass smile got me my first girlfriend!" He pretended to pout.
"And where is this girlfriend?" Cat put her hands on her hips.
"She's... Well, uh... " He started to point frantically in a few different directions, them let his hands all to his sides, smiling a real smile. Cat snapped the picture.
"Thank you Tre... " She smiled at him. He shook his head and grumbled.
Cat stuffed her camera into her purse, chuckling a bit.
