Cat And Billie Joe, chapter 22

Cat groaned as Billie woke her, lifting her up into his arms.
"What... " She closed her eyes again and rested her head against his chest.
"We're going to bed... Mike and Tre already left. You fell asleep." HE whispered into her ear.

He placed her down on the bed, pulling her pants down, and dropping them on the floor. He tugged his jeans down and took his shirt off and crawled into bed next to her. Subconsciously she slid over next to him, and he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her as close as he could get her.
"I love you Billie Joe." Cat whispered.
"I love you too Cat." He said, smiling into her hair.

Cat groaned as she threw her alarm clock against the wall, and Billie Joe laughed at her quietly.
"So, how are you going to get up the next morning?" He whispered to her as she sat up, rubbing the tiredness from her eyes.
"Eh... I don't think I actually broke it." She got up and went to the bathroom, and he could here the shower going

Cat squeezed the shampoo into her hair. She heard the bathroom door open, and figured Billie Joe was just in there to pee. But then she heard the shower curtain get pulled back and felt two arms come from behind, wrapping themselves around her waist. He set his head on her shoulder. Cat groaned.
"Billie... You can't do this. I'll be late... You distract me to much." She told him, pushing him slightly out of the shower.
"I won't, I promise." He pouted.
"Okay Billie Joe, but if you do anything-." He cut her off.
"I'll leave." He pushed her against the tiled wall and kissed her.
"I promise."

Cat dried her hair, applied her make-up, and dressed, then met Billie in the living room.
"I have a question for you Billie Joe. When is the last time you spent the night at your place? Not that I don't like it, don't get me wrong." She sat down next to him.
"I think I spent the night there last week... " He scratched his chin jokingly.
"Yes, well... Whatever, I've got to go now, how do I look?" The both stood up, Cat hold her arms out to the sides, spinning slowly so he could see her whole outfit.
"You look extremely sexy." He grinned.
"Thanks, but I want to look somewhat professional. Do I?"
"Yes, you do." With that, he kissed her on the mouth.
"Thanks... I have to go now though... Bye!" Cat grabbed her purse and camera bag, and left.

"Sara Louise?" The woman at the front desk asked.
"Yes? That's me." Cat walked up to the desk, looking at her name tag, which read 'Victoria.'
"The boss would like to speak to you, she is waiting in her office."
"Thank you." Cat nodded slightly and knocked on the boss's door.
"Come in! Sara! Welcome!" She was very enthusiastic.
"Hi... and If you don't mind, everyone calls me Cat."
"Of course, whatever you want to be called is fine, Cat. I just wanted to welcome you here, and show you your office. Now, what we want you to do first, is kind of like a test run. We will give you a small, fake project, so you can see how things run around here, than we will give you your real job." Cat nodded.
"So, if you will follow me, I will show you your new office." The Boss, whose name is Barbara, stood up, walking out of her office. She showed Cat her 'office', which was really a small cubicle.
"Sorry about these computers... We were supposed to get a whole new shipment of new computers, but someone in the long line screwed up, but they should be here tomorrow or next day." Barbara nodded and handed Cat a folder.
"Here is your fake project, all the details are in the folder, if you have any questions, I am extension 405." With that Barbara walked away.

Opening the folder, Cat waited for her computer to boot up. She thought her 'fake project' was pretty easy. She just had to take some random pictures, because they wanted to see what her style was, so they could set her up for the right projects.

"Hello, my name is Tim, my desk is right over there." A tall man shook her hand, pointing to a desk kitty-cornered to hers.
"My name is Cat." He nodded and sat back at his desk, or his 'office.' Cat thought that was kind of weird, but, whatever.

Cat decided to explore her computer a bit, to get to know her way around, and found that it mostly consisted of Photoshop programs, and other editors, and she also had her own private scanner. She was allowed to leave work, but only to take pictures and stuff, so she gathered her stuff up and signed herself out, and took a time sheet. A time sheet was just something to document her work time. She jotted down the needed information, and walked out into the streets of downtown San Francisco.

She walked to china town, she loved this place, and took some shots of people at work, children playing, everything. She walked a few other places, and in an hour's time, she had taken a pretty good share of pictures, so she decided to calla cab back.

When she arrived, she asked Barbara, just call me Barb, if there was a dark room, yes, there was, down that hall to the left, she said. Cat followed the directions, and sure enough, there was a, thankfully empty, dark room.

She developed all of her pictures, which took the rest of the day, slid them into a folder, and by the time she had done all of that, she was done for the day.

"Bye Barbara call me Barb! Seeya tommorow!" Cat walked out of the building, and called Billie.
"'Ello?"
"Hey Billie... I just got off work, so I decided to give you a ring and say 'hi.' So... hi!" Cat finished lamely... She just wanted to hear him again.
"Hey... Seeing as I'm not busy, and I don't think you are either, want to have dinner? Like a date?" He asked, which made Cat go all fluttery inside.
"Yes. Could you pick me up in... ," She glanced at her watch. "About and hour and a half?"
"Sure, see you then!"
They both hung up, saying their good byes, and Cat waved a taxi down. Climbing in, she told him what street she wanted to be dropped off on. She never told them her address, she was too paranoid. It wasn't the fact that they drove taxi's, she was just didn't want to tell a perfect stranger her address, in case they decided to re-create The Chainsaw Massacre. He dropped her off at the street corner, and she shoved a few bills in his hand, as he drove away. Walking down her busy street, she heard a whistle and honk, which was directed at her.
"Whoo-hoo, shake it!"
With out even looking, she flipped them off.
