Jesse and Andy's Antics, chapter 2
That one fateful December night...
I laid there motionless until headlights come peering around the corner, the next thing I know is a MSN a woman coming walking toward me.
"Oh my God, I wonder what on earth happened?" "I'm not so exactly, but I cant tell you that he was beat up pretty badly. I'm calling an ambulance."
"Okay." I try and speak but my words come out all mumbled. "Please help..." I faintly remember the woman speaking to me, her voice was so soothing. "Shh be quiet, help is on its way" The next thing I hear are sirens and I'm being loaded onto a stretcher and put into the ambulance. I wondered If I would ever meet the people that probably saved my life.
I wake up the next morning to a room full of people my girlfriend Sarah, Johnnie, Jay and a man I cannot recognize at the moment. "Hey babe, how are you, we were all so worried." "I've been better, I said laughingly. Although it really hurts to laugh, because of my 4 broken ribs.
"Hey man what's going on, how are ya," asked Johnnie. "I'll be better when I'm out of this place. Hey man do you know who those people are, the man and woman?" "yeah, a Mr and Mrs Armstrong, nice people, their the ones that found you lying out by the Ally. Anyway's Jay and I have to head back, but we'll be back later. Bye." "bye."
"Don't tell me you have to go too" "yeah I'm sorry babe, but I have to go to work, but I'll be here as soon as I'm off okay." "yeah I'll see you later, love ya." "love you too." As she kisses me and walks out the door.
The man and woman come over to me. "Hi, how we doing today?" "I'm a right side better than I normally am thanks." he laughs. "Can I ask you something?"
"yeah, go ahead." "Are you the man that I saw walking toward me last night?"
"Yes, that was me and my wife, Adrienne. My name is Billie Joe." "Hey man I greatly appreciate that. "Your welcome, all in a days work." I smile as he says this. "Do you know when I can get out of here?" "No I don't, but the doctor will be here in a while to come check on you, hopefully you can go home tomorrow." "Where's the lady that was with you, your wife?" "She's at home, with my sons." "Tell her I said thanks for everything" "I will do that for ya."
"Do you have a band that plays at the Ally?" "yes I do, Andy's Antics." "Cool" "Do you play?" "yeah, ever heard of Green Day?" "I have indeed, that's what I call music." "Ha ha, yeah its fun." Then Billie Joe's cell phone rings, he answers it, its his wife. "Sorry, but I must head home. One of my kids is throwing a tantrum and I need to go home to help out poor Adie." "Its no problem, it was nice meeting you." "You too, but I'm sure our paths will cross again." He smiles and walks out the door.
