Jesse and Andy's Antics, chapter 9
12 am Sunday night.. (Jesse's journal)
We're expecting Dad home today, I can't wait its been a while since ive seen him and I miss him. A few things have me worried though, Sarah doesn't seem like herself lately and I'm really scared that something might happen to her again, and the baby. We've been arguing over baby names, haha. Let me see she like uhm Julian, Braden, Brandon, William, Gregory, and seriously for the list is endless. I like those names but I don't love them. Here's what I like; Anthony, Ian, Steven(Stephen), James, Samuel, Erik, Jonathan, Tyler, Coady. Uh there are more but I don't wanna bore you. Lol. Anyways I'm gunna head to bed, later.
*Jesse*
*the next morning*
I wake up to Joey and Jake fighting over the play station, its the third time this week that, this has happened. Its just because of Halo 2 I guess. I get up and break them up and I tell Jake to let Joey go first and then he can go. With that settled I go downstairs and Sarah is makin me breakfast.
"What a pleasant surprise"
"Good morning babe"
I then break into song... Ohh boyy..
"Good mornign beautuful how was your night, good morning beautiful day.. I'm not even sure if thats how the song goes." She laughs..
"Thats okay, you still sound great"
Sarah then suddenly bends over in pain and yells.
"Sarah are you okay?" I ask in a scared/shakey tone.
"Oww! Take me to the hospital, please, it hurts!"
"Okay, okay lets go."
I yell upstairs to Jake and Joey to get their asses down here so I can take Sarah to the hospital. They run downstairs, I then tell Joey to call mom and tell her whats goin on.
"Jesse what exactly is goin on?"
"Sarah is having early labor pains" I tell him. It was the easiest way to tell a 10 yr old.
"Ok"
He calls mom and informs her and she says she'll meet us at the hospital.
We all get in the car and get to the hospital. Meanwhile Sarah is in agony she almost rips the door handle off the door. We finally get to the hospital and I take her in, people immediatly put her in a wheelchair and bring her up to the MW, (maternity ward for those of you who don't know) They get her dressed in a gown and hook her up to a fetal monitor. They also give her some I. V. Stuff to stop her from contracting. A little while later mom gets to the hospital, she was at the airport picking up Bilie. They rush upstairs and I meet tem outside her room. They both give me big hugs and ask me how she's doing.
"How is she? The baby? Mom asks.
"Well Sarah is resting comfortably, the doctor told me that the baby was under some stress, and Sarah just need to be on bed rest for a while."
"And how are you?" asks dad.
"I've been better, just tired and worried I guess."
"Yeah I can see that."
"Where are the boys?"
"Oh their in the room playing game boy, with the sound turned off," I added quickly. "Go in and see them, dad, they'll be happy your here."
"Hey guys," he whispers.
"Daddie," they whisper back
He embraces them both and tells them that the're gunna go get something to eat so they can leave me and Sarah alone for a little while.
"Does that sound good with you guys?"
"Yea, can we get pizza they ask?"
"Sure, why not."
"Adie, where gunna go get some pizza are you gunna come?"
"No, I don't think so, i'm gunna stay here with Jesse, but bring me back a slice."
"Okay, how about you Jester,?"
"Yea bring me back a couple, I'm starving."
"Alright then, see ya soon, and I have my cell so you can reach me."
"Yea no problem"
"Bye"
"Bye dad"
Sarah finally wakes up, and she's really worried and she doesn't feel well at all.
"Hey Sarah, how are ya baby?" as I kiss her on the forehead.
"I'm okay, I don't feel very well"
"You don't? Do you want me to go get the nurse?"
"Yes please do."
"Okay sweetie"
I go to get a nurse and my mom meets me at the door.
"She's up, you can go in and talk to her"
"Okay hun"
Meanwhile I go look for a nurse and Sarah and Adrienne are talking. Then the baby heart moniter starts beeping, which usually signals that the heart rate is dropping.
"Adrienne wats that, why is it beeping!?" A nurse comes rushing in.
"Whats going are you okay Sarah?"
"Jesse, why is this happening?"
"I wish I could tell you."
"Ma'am the baby's heart rate is dropping significantly, if we cant get it to go back up, we have no other choce but to deliveryyour baby prematurely via emergency c-section.
"Sarah, its gunna be alright, tears are dropping from her eyes and I know she knows that something is really wrong...
