My Truly Chemical Romance, chapter 12
*About 11 AM*
We heard a knock on the door as we sat still talking. Suddenly the door swung open to reveal Frankie in a mad rush.
"Frankie whats up?" Gee asked looking puzzled.
"I can't find my yellow sweatshirt and we gotta leave for the plane to the VMAs in a half an hour!" He said franticly looking around our room.
"Hey you mean the yellow sweater around your waist?" I said as I started to laugh.
"Hey you found it!" Frankie said happily. He started to dance around the room.
"Hey you should keep this one!" Frankie danced over to give me a hug.
"I Think I will!" Gee replied as he joined in on our little love fest.
"So by the way heres the plan since the show starts a few hours after our flight gets in were all gonna go get our hair done and stuff and go to the show. Ok?" Frankie said as the hug broke. We both agreed, got our stuff ready and left for JFK airport. During the ride I started to get nervous.
"Hey did I tell you guys I'm kinda scared of flying?" I said smiling sarcasticly.
"Thats ok we'll help you get through it!" Gee said holding my hand.
"Hey you know the VMAs are flying us out first class right?" Cassie asked me.
"No but thats awsome!" I said clapping. The tour bus finally stopped in front of the airport and let us out.
*On the plane before take off*
We got our seats as I sat down shaking slightly.
"It'll be ok babe just relax!" Gee said holding my hand. We started to take off.
"God I hate this part!" I said holding Gees hand tighter.
"Here have some gum. I'll stop your ears from popping." He said as he held out a pack of green gum.
"Thanks!" I said taking a peice.
"Here we go!" Gee said as we lifted into mid-air and I closed my eyes.
"Ok the worst is over." He said as the plane leveled out, "Hey you wanna listen to my i-pod with me?" He smiled as he held out an ear peice.
"Ok!" I said excepting it and putting it on.
"Whadya wanna listen to?" He asked browsing through a bunch of songs by nuemerous artists.
"I dunno supprise me!" I said.
We listened to music for the rest of the flight and I didnt even get nervous after that point.
*After we got off the plane*
"Thank you so much Gee! You really helped me stay calm!" I said giving him a thank you kiss on the cheek.
"Its the least I could do!" He replied as we walked out of the airport hand in hand.
"Hey look what the VMAs gave us now!" Ray said pointing to a limo driver with a sign saying My Chemical Romance. We all intoduced ourselves and went outside with the driver to find a black hummer limo parked out infront!
"Oh my god its huge!" Cassie said as we all got in.
"Hey the people at MTV told me to esscourt you to the hair sallon is that right?" The driver asked from up infront.
"Yep!" Bob said as he turned on the radio to some Maroon 5 song and quickly turned it off. We finally got to the sallon where me and Cassie got our make up, manicures, pedicures, and hair done. My hair was stick straight, my make up was pretty much all black with some purpilish-pink lipstick, and my nails were black with blue broken hearts. I was ready to go!
*Back in the Limo about an hour later*
Were here!" Gee said as we pulled up to the red crapet.
"Wow this is amazing!" I said as I got out of the limo.
"Now just smile and wave to the camera ok?" Gee whispered to me as he grabbed my hand and escorted me down the red carpet.
"Ok!" I said as camerars flashed infront of me. I truly felt like a celebrity and I hate to say it but I liked it! We finally got inside and got our seats waiting for the show to begin.
"Look its starting!" I said to Gee as Green Day appeared onstage. For the next hour or so we sat, watched the show and enjoyed ourselves.
"And now we will announce the award for the MTV2 award." The host said. Finally, an award I thought MCR would definitely win!
"And the winner is... "
