My Truly Chemical Romance, chapter 22
*3 AM the same night*
"Sonia, baby! I can't sleep and I really need to talk to you." Gee said as he gently woke me up.
"What baby? it's so early!" I replied.
"Look it's important. It's been eating away at me since we fell asleep and I need to talk to you." Gee said it sounded important so I turned on a light and put on my black emily the strange robe and slippers.
"Ok c'mon I kno a perfect place to talk!" I said grabbing Gee's hand and dragging him out of our appartment and up a flight of stairs.
"Where are we going?" Asked Gee as he tried not to wake the neighboors.
"You'll see!" I whispered back. Suddenly we reached a door and went out.
"So this is our roof?" Gee asked as we both sat down in two deck chairs facing towards our city. It was absolutly beautiful at night!
"Yep!" I replied,"So what did you wanna tell me hun?"
"Well you know Cassie and Frank's wedding planner Colleen?" Gee asked looking into the night sky.
"Yep! She's really nice!" I replied smiling. But I wondered 'What does this have to do with her?'
"Well you see when we were in her office today I noticed her last name and it turns out..." Gee paused then took a breath and spoke again, "She was my ex girlfriend from about 3 and a half years ago."
At that very moment I wanted to hate Colleen but I knew it was impossable. She was too sweet and never actually perposfully did anything to me. All I could do was nodd.
"You see it was purly about...well you know." Gee said as he blushed and I smiled slightly. Then he continued-
"I never loved her! Not like I love you! Honestly since the moment I saw you I knew..." He paused and looked deep into my eyes.
"Knew what baby?" I asked. He was so cute when he acted all shy like this.
"I knew you were my only one! I love you!" He said then kissed me.
"Aww baby! Same here! I love you and I always will... no matter what!" I replied with a tear in my eye. You see throughout all my relationships all my life I've never known someone who I truly love with all my heart.
We both hugged one last time then went downstairs to go back to bed.
*The next day (Well same day techniclly) at 3 pm*
I slowly woke up to someone poking me and Gee. It was Frankie.
"Wow you guys slept late!" He said as we both sat up, "Me and Cassie thought you were like hibernating and would miss the wedding or something!" We all laughed at Frankie's comment then Gee looked at the clock!
"Oh my god its late!" he said with wide eyes. We quicly both went to get dressed as Frankie left to go out to lunch with Cassie and look at flower ideas for the wedding. We were all dressed by 3:30 and were left with nothing to do.
"Hey Gee when are we going to that supprise you have planned tonight?" I asked as we both sat at our kitchen table.
"Well we should be ther by like 8:30 so around 7:30. You've proably figured it otu by now but its in the the city." Gee replied. I clapped my hands happily.
"Oh and your gonna need to dress up a little bit." Gee said smiling. he knew I loved the city and just going in its self was a treat.
"Hey since I dont really have anyhting like that to wear you wanna go to the mall shopping?" I asked smiling. We both agreed and went racing to the car.
*At the mall (Hottopic imparticular)*
Me and Gee entered the store and I quickly started rumaging through the dresses.
"Well someone knows how to skim-shop!" Gee said.
"Whats that?" i asked giggeling.
"Well its when you take a quick look at each thing in a clothing rack then move on. And i thought you were a girl!" Gee said as we both laughed so hard people started wondering if we were having seizures. Suddenly as I was 'skim-shopping' I saw a very pretty purple dress that I knew would be perfect for what ever Gee had in mind.
"Hey baby? Whadya think?" I asked as I tried it on. Gee clapped and told me that it was perfect. Soon enough we were back home and getting ready for tonight after all we did get back around 7. We got dressed quickly, said goodbye and fed Emily (our dog in case you didn't remember) and walked out to what I expected to be Gee's car. Insted the was an beautiful black stretch limo out in front. We quickly got in as I was still pretty shocked.
"Gee this amazing but why so elaberite?" I asked giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Well you obviously don't know this but today was the day I found out that I was gonna meet you from Cassie. Oh and by the way, these isn't the anniversary thing I told you about a little while ago." Gee said as we pulled away for our house. The drive to the city seemed to fly it was only when we got there that the suspense started to kick in. Suddenly we pulled up to a small alleyway.
"This is it hun!" Gee said as we got out of the car.
"Umm Gee where are we?" I replied.
"You'll see!" He said the he took me to a door which looked like it was to an old abandoned factory. Then he opened it.
"Gee!" I screamed almost speachless.
"Welcome to the best karoke bar in all of New York!" He said picking me up and carrying me in. It was beautiful! The walls were covered with waves of red silk, the couches blue velvet, and right in the center was a big stage for the preformers.
"You wanna sign up to preform?" Gee asked as we walked over to the man who was still doing sign-ups.
"Of course!" I said happily. We started looking through the song list.
"How bout that song 'I Miss You' by Blink-182?" Gee asked.
"Ok. It's the best thing on here isn't it?" I said playing with Gee's hair. He agreed and we signed up for that and went to sit down. Suddenly I noticed Britney Spears and her hick husband walk in and also sign-up for the karoke contest. From the on we were on a mission to beat them.
"And now we have some new commers! Lets give it up to Gerard and Sonia singing Blink-182's 'I Miss You'!" The announcer said as we walked up to preform our song. The preformance went ammazingly and we got thunderous applause as we left but I could tell the odd couple (Britney and Kevin incase you didn't guess) were giving us dirty looks the whole time.
Then suddenly they were called on stage. They started preforming some N'Sync song and instantly got booed off the stage. Gee and I started laughing hysterically and a few minutes later we found out that we won!
*Back at the Appartment*
"Thanks for such a great night Gee!" I said putting on my pajamas.
"Your welcome baby! You deserve it!" He replied kissing me then turning off the light. So the moral of today was all's fair in love, war......and good music!
