My Truly Chemical Romance, chapter 9
"Hey everybody!" I screamed to the crowd! They all screamed back. Whew I had made contact.
"How you guys doin tonight?" I asked as they were screaming and like I expected they screamed even louder.
"Awsome! So this song goes out to a guy who we all know and love.. Gerard Way!" I yelled as people screamed and even whistled.
"Now this song is a tad bit slower so I wanna see all your lighters and cellphones shining so bright that they could see us from space!" I said as the band started to play Demoltion Lovers. I felt more comfortable on this stage than I have ever felt performing anywhere.
"Thank you all and so long and goodnight!" I screamed after I finished the song and left the stage glowing.
"You did great!" Gee said as he pulled me into a huge bear hug backstage after the show.
"Yeah the crowd really did love you!" Ray said patting me on the back.
"Thanks guys!" I said as my cheeks turned a pale red, " I couldnt have done it without you."
"Hey lets go get some ice cream to celebrate!" Cassie said
"Ok!" everyone agreee. But as soon as we left we were all bombarded by fans.
"Ok if as we sign autographs were gonna make our way to the bus ok?" Gee whispered as he put his arm around my waist.
We started walking through the heavy crowd.
"The whole band is so good with the fans!" I thought to myself as I watched them sign autographs and pose for pictures. Suddenly a girl about 14 came up to me.
"Hey weren't you Sonia? That girl who preformed with the band? She asked.
"Yeah!" I said smiling
"You were awsome! Hey can I mabye have an autograph?" She asked holding a pen and paper. I was flattered! My first autograph.
"Of course!" I said excepting the paper and pen. "Whats your name?
"Carly." She said as I scribbled on the paper. I handed it back to her.
"Thanks!" she said as she walked away.
"No thank you!" I said as I tried to catch up with the guys.
It turns out that they were already on the bus. They started beeping the horn for me. I got on as we headed to a local ice cream shop.
"You guys, someone asked me for an autograph!" I said as I plopped down on the couch.
"Yeah us too!" Frankie said as he sat down next to me.
"Hey were here!" The driver mentioned as we pulled into a parking lot.
We all filed out of the bus and headed into the almost empty ice cream parlor.
"One strawberry milkshake two straws!" Frankie said ordering his usual, and very annoying, frozen treat. I ordered a bananna split to share with Gee, Mikey ordered a vanilla cone with sprinkles, bob ordered rocky road, andray ordered strawberry sherbert.
Frankie and Cassie sat down first a they slurped their milkshake, next me and Gee, and finally Bob, Mikey, and Ray.
"So what did you think of preforming for the first time?" Gee said as he took the first bite of our desert.
"It was amazing! Your right you do have the best fans on earth!" I said also digging into the bananna split.
We all made coverstation as we ate and left the shop at about 2 AM.
"Me sleepy!" I said as I walked over to Gee and I's bunk.
"Yeah me too!" Gee said climbing into the bunk with me and closing the shade to it.
"I love you." I said kissing him on the nose.
"You too." He said as he did the same. I closed my eyes on an amazing day and fell asleep yet again in his arms.
