Tre's In Love?, chapter 5
Tre awaoke early the next morning and went down tot he kitchen where Billie Joe and Mike were drinking cofee. "Wheres Alex?" Tre asked looking aruond the kitchen tryin to see where she was hiding.
"You don't remember? She left last night." Mike said feeling very sorry for Tre.
"That wasnt a dream? I didn't think it was real." Tears began to glisten in his eyes.
"But you will get her back. No one can resist Tre Cool's sexy body." Billie smiled at Tre and tried to cheer him up but Tre just went into the TV room and turned it on.
A little later on in the day Tre had been able to stop his crying but he refused to eat anything until Alex came back and just moped around the house not doing anything at all. The dorr bell rang at around 1 and Mike went to answer it. Tre and Billie were sitting in the TV room watching TV.
Mike opened the door and there was Alex." oh! One second. Lemme get Tre for you." before Alex could protest Mike had allready swaped places with Tre. Mike and Billie watched the two of them from the sofa.
"I only came back to get some of the things I left here." Alex wouldn't look at Tre and began walking toward the stairs.
"You still have something of mine too you know." Tre sopke very quietly, almost a whisper.
"No I don't. You took all of your things from my house back to yours after your last visit." Alex turned around to continue going up the stairs. Tre grabbed her arm and pulled her so that they were looking eye to eye. "What are you..."
"YOu have my heart Alex!" After Tre said this there was a silence. He let go of Alex's arm but she didn't move. After what seemed like forever Alex began sobbing.
"I love you tre! I ddin't think..." Alex was cut off by Tre.
"It's my fault. Don't say anything. I love you more then words can say. I didn't know how to tell you. But, Alex, I need you. Without you I am dead. I ahve no reason to live." Small tears began to roll down the side of Tre's cheek.
Alex brushed some gently away with her fingers. Tre held her hand on his face. "I love you too Tre. If you didn't love me I wouldn't have wanted to live any longer." With that Alex and Tre embraced each other and kissed. "just do me one favor tunny."
"What's that?" Tre whispered in her ear.
"Promise me you'll never let me go."
"I promise that as long as I live you will always be the only woman in my arms." Tre whispered back.
Mike and Billie sat watching form the coach smiling. Mike even wiped a tear from his eye.
"I guess Tre is in love." Billie stated with a tone of shock in his voice.
