Tre's In Love?, chapter 6
The alarm clock on Tre's night stand began ringing at 8:00 on Monday morning. Tre moved his arm from around Alex to slap it silent. He sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes and smiled down at Alex who was still sleeping peacefully despite the alarm going off.
"Alex." Tre whispered quietly into her ear. "Alex." He spoke a little ouder, "Baby. Time to get up." Alex bagan to move a bit and looked up at Tre with half opened eyes.
"Allredy? It's way too early." She groaned and rolled over. Tre got out of bed and went to the other side. He knelt down until he was as close to Alex's face as possible without touching it. He leaned allthe way in and began kissing her on the lips. Alex began to laugh. "Ok, ok, I'll get up...for you." She kissed him back before getting out of bed.
"I'm so excited. Today you get to go see me play the shit out the drums!" Tre exclaimed, pulling a shirtover his head.
"I've seen you do that many times. No one else can do it like you can." Alex kissed him as she was in the process of getting dressed.
"Your catching up to me though. ANd you havent seen us record in a studio before."
"No, I can't say I have." Alex walked out of the room and down to the kitchen and started making breakfast. "Your toast is ready Tunny bear!" Alex yelled up the stairs to tre who`was talking really long time to get dressed.
Tre came bounding down the stairs and sat down at the table and began eating the toast as if it would run away if he didnt eat it quick. "The guys will be here in...5 minutes." Tre said through mouthfulls of toast.
5 minutes later tre and Alex climbed into a van with Billie Joe and Mike and headed for the recording studio. Once there the guys gave Alex a quick tour and then she got to listen to them practice. Some of the recording crew showed her how to operate some of the controls. The guys played through all of the songs on thier newest album and then Billie said, "ok, Tre, it's your turn." Billie handed tre a guitar and he sat on a stool facing in Alex's direction.
"Tre never told me one of his songs was going on the album." Alex said to no one in particular. The guy next to her just shrugged and smiled.
"Alex," Tre said, "this song is for you...." Tre played a very romantic love song that talked directly about Alex. When the song ended he got off the stool and walked over to where Alex was sitting and knelt beside her, "Alex, will you marry me?" Tre opened a box that contained the most beautiful diamond ring Alex had ever seen.
Alex began crying and wrapped her arms around Tre and kissed him. "You didnt even have to ask. I would marry you any day." Alex and Tre kissed and then Tre picked her up in his arms and they kissed some more.
"You here that everyone!? I'm getting married!!" Tre shouted twirling Alex in the air. "This is the 2nd happiest day of my life."
"2nd?" Alex asked
"The day we say our 'I do's' will be the best day of my life. "I love you Alex."
"I love yu too Tre." Then they kissed again.
