The Dilemma, chapter 3
Billie Joe stared long and hard at Amy, then turned and stalked outta the room. Amy pulled away from Jack and said, "Sorry Jack, I just don't feel the same way about you," and rushed out of the room after Billie Joe. She saw him standing at his locker, kicking it, and he had tears rolling down his cheeks. "What's wrong Billie?" she asked gently.
"I love you, and I really had meant to tell you but I was too shy and now I've totally ruined our friendship and..."
"Wait a sec... You mean you WERE going to tell me?
"Yea."
She looked him straight in the eye and said, "I love you too Billie Joe. And I'm sorry about what I said earlier, I was just upset and felt betrayed because I thought you didn't trust me enough to tell me."
Billie Joe looked slightly upset by this." Friends?" Amy asked.
"Forever," Billie replied, and they hugged." Come on, let's go to homeroom," he said, and they held hands and went inside.
Lykos and Mike were in their homeroom, and were bored. The morning announcements were taking way long to get through." Hey Mike, let's have a thumb war," whispered Lykos.
"You're on," he replied, and they dueled. Lykos won, and was gloating, until...
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING LYKOS?" yelled the teacher.
"Um... Nothing miss," she said meekly.
"Dismissed, go to your first lessons," said the teacher, and the class filed out." Don't forget, we've gotta go and meet Billie Joe and Amy," said Lykos." That is, IF they're talking," replied Mike. They ran upstairs, and to their surprise Billie Joe had his arm around Amy's waist." Dudes, I thought you weren't talking?" said Lykos in surprise." We are, I apologized this morning and we kissed and make up," said Billie Joe cheekily." Well, we didn't kiss, but we make up," corrected Amy.
"Oh my god, we gotta go, we have Miss Ryan's next and she'll kill us if we're late. We'll meet you guys in History, ok?" said Billie as Amy and him were running off hand in hand.
"Ok, have a good lesson," yelled Lykos after them.
Chloe and Cat shared Amy and Billie Joe's first lesson, and were a bit surprised to see them run in together hand in hand." Hey Amy, we saved you a seat," whispered Chloe. Amy looked apologetically at Billie Joe." Is it ok if I sit there, cause we've gotta talk about this sleep over we're planning?"
"Sure, I'll sit at the table next to you," he replied with a grin.
Amy went and sat next to Chloe. Chloe leaned over and hissed"I thought you two were sworn enemies this morning?"
"Well... I kinda apologized," Amy admitted sheepishly.
"You did WHAAAAATTTT?" yelled Cat, and half the class turned to look at her." Sorry," she said, then turned her attention back to Amy.
"Me and him are best mates, and it just feels weird without him. I still fancy him, I just can't tell him," she whispered.
"Well if you don't, I will!" said Chloe firmly, and she leant towards Billie Joe and said quietly," Hey Billie Joe?"
"Yea?" he replied, green eyes dancing.
"Amy fancies you, and she was wondering if you would go out with her this Saturday Night?"
Amy waited in fear as she waited for his answer.
"Well," he said,! I guess I'd have to say"...
