The Dilemma, chapter 7
"How good Friends was last night, and what happened in it," said Amy smoothly. Lykos breathed out slowly, and Amy glared at her." Very well Amy, you can have a detention for talking in class. Now sit down"
"BUT..." Amy started." I said SIT DOWN!" yelled Mrs James, and Amy sat down sulkily. A few minutes later a note landed on Amy's desk, and she opened it curiously." Hey babe, me and Mike were wondering what you and Lykos were really talking about. Love you loads, and I'll try and get a detention to keep you company. Love, Billie Joe xxx."
She smiled to herself and wrote," Lykos and Mike caught us in the hot tub last night, and they just stood there and watched us like perverts, and I wasn't exactly gonna tell Mrs James that, was I? Tell Mike, off me, that I don't wanna speak to him or Lykos again until they apologise to us, is that ok with you? Love, Amy xxx"
She passed it to him, and watched as he silently scanned the page with a little frown on his forehead. He looked at her and nodded, as if to say, I agree. He passed Mike the note, and Mike read it. When he got to the end he looked at Billie Joe and said," You must be JOKING!" in a whisper. In his normal voice Billie Joe said," No Mike, you heard it right. It's true..."
"Billie Joe Armstrong, what are you talking about? Perhaps the whole class would like to hear it," said Mrs Jones in a sickly sweet tone of voice.
"Me and Mike were talking about something Jennifer Anison said on friends last night, and he didn't think it was true," replied Billie Joe." DETENTION for not paying attention in class, now sit your ass back down and WORK," said Mrs James. He sat down, and Amy shot him a grateful look. Just then the bell for recess rung, and everyone trampled out of the classroom. When they got outside Billie Joe turned to Mike and Lykos and said," What kind of sick perverts are you, spying on your best friends?"
"US? We didn't intentionally spy on you, we were going outside for some fresh air and heard you, then we say YOU sucking HER nipples!" yelled Mike really loudly, pointing first at Billie Joe and then Amy. Amy blushed, and then said," Well, WHY did you stick around watching us then. If you felt so repulsed? Oh, I know. It's so you could get some tips on what to do with Lykos, because it's not like YOU'VE ever had a girlfriend before," screamed back Amy.
Lykos looked angry, and shouted," Well, you're the one who said yesterday that you weren't ready for sex yet, THEN you go and HAVE SEX IN THE HOT TUB WHILE YOUR PARENTS ARE IN THE HOUSE!"
Amy slapped Lykos, who then put her hand up to gingerly feel her face where Amy had slapped it. To her horror she felt blood:Amy's ring had cut her." You bitch," she snarled, leaping at Amy, and she punched her in the stomach." OMG!" Amy yelled, and Billie Joe put his hand protectivally over her stomach. She started crying." YOU FUCKING BITCH!" he yelled." Come on babe, let's get outta here before they do more damage to you."
They walked off, and Billie Joe turned back and spat at Mike. Then they went to look for Chloe and Cat. Eventually they found them, and Cat took one look at Amy crying and said," What's wrong hun? Amy managed to choke out," Lykos and me were having an arguement and... And... And... She punched me in the stomach." Cat looked outraged, and put her arm around Amy." And the worst part is," Billie Joe continued," that she might have harmed the baby... Ooooops!"
