The Dilemma, chapter 9

Jack, Lykos and Mike. Jack was Amy's first boyfriend and she had dumped him, so he was bitter towards her because of that. They loathed each other, and Amy turned pale as she saw him. She gave him a dirty look, then said in a commanding voice," What did you say to me?" Jack repeated what he'd said before, and Billie Joe stepped towards him and punched him in the nose. Jack clutched his face as his nose started to bleed, and Lykos gave an angry snarl and leapt at Amy, scratching her face with her nails and trying to punch her in the stomach. Amy screamed as she cluthed her stomach, trying desperately to stop Lykos get near her stomach. Suddenly Lykos was on the ground, and Amy looked at Billie Joe. He'd grabbed Lykos off her and pulled her aside, then shoved her hard so that she fell over. He stared at Mike as he snarled," Get outta here, and take your girlfriend and mate with you!" Mike looked taken aback, then said," Here babe, let's get away from this scum!" He pulled Lykos up and walked off with his arm around her, yelling back," This isn't over, Armstrong!" Jack ran to catch them up. Billie Joe helped Amy up from where she had collapsed on the steps, and said concernedly," Are you okay babe?" Yeah, I'm fine, just a scratch or two," she replied, and hugged him." Oh Billie, I was so scared in case they managed to hurt the baby," she sobbed onto his shoulder. He stroked her hair, and said tenderly," There there, it's okay. They didn't get the baby and you're safe, and that's all that matters." Billie...?" asked Amy he'sitantly." Yeah?" he replied." Can we just go home?"
A while later they were home, and Billie Joe had made Amy a peppermint tea. He was settled in front of the television and she was flicking through a magazine. Suddenly the phone rung." I'll get it," said Amy, and stretched out her hand and picked up the reciever." Hello," she said lightly." Hey Amy, it's Lucia."
"Hey Lucia, what's up?"
"Um, not much really, but can I come over?"
"Okay, sure. When will you be here?" In about an hour?"
"Okay, see you soon!"
"Bye!"
"Bye!"
She put down the reciever and said," Lucia's on her way over, is that okay with you?"
"Sure," he said, and went into the kitchen to get some biscuits." Do you want me to make you a banana, strawberry and blueberry smoothie?" he called." That would be lovely, thanks sweetie," she yelled back. Just then her phone bleeped-she had a text." Hmmmm, I wonder who it's from?" she wondered aloud, looking at the number and not recognising it. She read the text, murmering it a bit, then screamed." Hun, what's wrong?" Billie Joe asked, running in from the kitchen at top speed." Read this," she whispered with tears in her eyes, handing Billie Joe her phone. He looked at it puzzledly, then read the text. It said...
