Tre stood up and stumbled around, trying to grab onto something, he eventually grabbed a chair. He sat down on it his mind still wondering what happened, he opened his eyes and saw Mike standing there with his teeth gritted and his hand still in the air. Tre looked at Billie Joe who knew what had happened and why it happened, Tre looked back at Mike and figured it out; Mike loved Katie. Tre felt like such an idiot, he probably didn't love Katie as much as Mike, hell at the beginning he just wanted to do her. He still wanted to be friends with Katie but he didn't think Mike would be friendly with him for that much longer. "Sorry Mike I just didn't know" Tre apologized. Mike saw that his friend was truly sorry, he sat down on the floor and looked down to the floor and replied
"No one ever does, it was my fault."
"Dude, you should've told us ages ago" Billie Joe told Mike, Mike put his hair through his hands and replied "I didn't really realise till today." Tre and Billie Joe sat down next to Mike and put there arms around his shoulder and Billie Joe said "don't sweat it I'm sure she loves you back."
"But that's the point she doesn't love me back, after I said no to her she hated me but now we're friends again." Mike replied.
Who knew a whole year would fly by so fast, it was the summer of '94 and it seemed so real to Katie, she was in her last year of high school, she visited the university she was going to and she fell in love with it, it was all she hoped it to be, it was near the beach, it had a library to die for, the halls were vintage and was made of old oak wood, and most of all to Katie it had art studios that beat anything her school could've produced. The only thing that got her down was that Abi was hopefully going to go to Yale; it was her dream since she was 10. They had never spent more than a month apart when they were 13, it was the summer and Abi went to see her family in Glasgow and now they had to spend a whole semester apart. They knew something like this would happen someday but it's the one thing neither of them can get ready for.

But thankfully they had a whole year to wait until Judgement Day. It was July and Green Day's album was huger than huge, they never expected this to happen in the slightest, with there singles Longview, Basket Case and When I come around out and selling fast they were set to do the 2nd Woodstock in August. But not before Billie Joe could marry the love of his life Adrienne, the wedding was set they somehow did it in two weeks as well. Mike and Tre were best men and Adrienne had two of her closest friends as the maid of honour and bride. Katie and Abi were invited and couldn't wait. Mike wasn't anticipating seeing them there, for one he couldn't look Katie in the eye and speak at the same time and also when Katie and Abi were together they could create as much annoyance and mischief as possible. Whenever Mike pulled up his underwear a bit too hard it always reminded him of the wedgie that the duo gave him one thanksgiving when they were 9 and he was 14, his underwear came up to his neck and he had to be put into medical care.
The big day came for Billie Joe and he was practically bouncing off walls, his attention span was smaller than a fish and he couldn't stay still for a minute. Adrienne was so excited that you couldn't understand a word she was saying. Mike was with Billie Joe as they both got changed into tuxedos. They were talking about marriage inevitably "I always thought you'd be the first to get married" Billie Joe told Mike while buttoning his shirt up. "Ye but you know haven't found 'the one' like you" Mike replied having trouble with his bow-tie "What about Katie?"
"Ye what about her?" Mike answered.
"Well you still have feelings for her... please don't tell me you haven't made your move yet" Billie Joe replied while putting on his cufflinks.
"I haven't, I dunno about it, she has her own life to deal with and if your thinking about today me doing it then no because a I'm not stealing your thunder and b Abi is with her." Mike told Billie Joe still having trouble with his bow tie, Billie Joe decided to help his frustrated friend by doing it for him while saying "I agree with that motion, Abi and Katie together is like a cat and mouse in the same room, lots of trouble for no reason."
It was the afternoon and everyone was in their places and with the right attire all there was needed was the bride. She came out and was dazzling, she was wearing the usual white wedding dress but it was given an edge due to the dreadlocks up to her chest, her father walked her up the aisle and let go of her arm and also let go of his little girl and let her enter adulthood. It was a 5 minute service but a beautiful one at that, you could see in Billie Joe's and Adrienne eyes that they'd be together forever. The ceremony ended and there was a reception, Abi and Katie were mingling and decided that one day of the year not to cause trouble, but little did they know that Mike would try to beat them at there own game. Later they did realise once they saw that evil glint in his eyes, they wouldn't let him get away with this, the game finally was challenging for Katie and Abi and they knew what to do, they wouldn't destroy the day for everyone especially the bride and groom but they knew how to ruin it for Mike, all they needed was a willing Tre but he wouldn't know what he was doing.
Mike saw what they were wearing so it was impossible to get back for the wedgie, but he knew how much they cost and that staining them was going to be easy. He grabbed a piece of carrot and dipped it into the sauce, Katie and Abi saw him do that and decided to put there plan in action, they went up to Tre and wrapped there arms around his shoulders. "Hey Tre" they both said in unison in a sexy tone.
"Hey Abi, Hey Katie" Tre replied totally deluded to what was happening. They knew it wasn't easy to get Tre to notice flirting but they knew he'd get it someday so to quicken the process Abi said still in her sexy tone "Tre you know I lurve men in suits" then whispering into his ears "The trousers are tight so you can see how big it is." Tre thought he knew there game but he was still as deluded as a duck, Katie saw Mike coming and decided to step it up a notch by riding her hand up her thigh and wrapping her leg around Tre's. Abi saw what Katie was doing and why and copied, Mike was coming closer and was a few steps away, Katie then decided to say to Tre "You know, I always thought you were the sexier one." Tre looked at her surprisingly; Mike just came up to them and was about to spill on Abi when she said "So do I, you just so sexy it makes me wish I wasn't a virgin." Tre quickly turned around and it made it so that it spilled on Tre instead of her. There job was done so they decided to go but before they did they said to Tre "Ooh sorry about the suit, well gotta go" and they both kissed Tre in each cheek and quickly left.
Tre was furious with Mike, he spent loads of money on that suit, and he deprived himself of the vitals, beer and cigarettes for days to get that suit that was now ruined. All he could say to his friend was "What the fuck?" Mike was gob smacked, he had this plan all sussed out, he knew the girls weren't up to no good it was perfect but ruined by as usual Katie and Abi. They laughed there heads off afterwards behind one of the walls, it was just by coincidence that Billie Joe was at the same wall for a moment restraining from the family, he saw them laughing and knew something happened, he couldn't believe it, they promised not to do anything. He went up to them and asked "What did you do this time?"
"It wasn't our fault, Mike was going to ruin our dresses so we intervened and made him spill it on Tre" Abi answered and they both stopped realising his seriousness.
"Guys you promised, this is my wedding day for fuck sake, Tre spent money on that suit, why do you do this everywhere you go." Billie Joe asked them, they felt so bad, they knew they had defiantly fucked this up; they made a promise and broke it. They barely ever broke promises and this one was a big one. They felt so bad but words couldn't express it but they did say "Sorry Billie we didn't mean to do it." Billie Joe didn't believe them and showed them by saying eyebrows raised "Ye and there's a wolf over there, look why don't you two just stay apart a while it'll be like an actual sorry to me than that fake one you just did." Billie Joe separated from the two and they separated themselves, Abi going with her family and Katie hanging around.
The situation with Mike and Tre wasn't going any better, Mike replied to Tre's question by saying "It wasn't meant to go on you it was meant to go on Abi."
"I paid loads of money for this and you ruined it" Tre told Mike, Mike's mind was elsewhere, he was still wondering how his plan went wrong. Tre put two and two together and figured out that Katie and Abi foiled Mike's plan and said "Look I don't mind, I know its Katie's and Abi's fault, I'll get it fixed don't worry." Katie heard there conversation from a distance, she was sitting down on some steps and starting to feel worse by the second, not only had she pissed Billie Joe off but she had also ruined Tre's tux. She couldn't feel any worse but here it was coming, it was Adrienne, she didn't look pissed but she barely ever did; just one talk with her after doing something wrong could make you feel even worse. Adrienne went up to Katie and sat down next to her and asked "What's wrong?" Katie didn't know where to start, ruining Tre's tux, pissing of Billie Joe or being known as a nuisance when with Abi so just simply answered "Nothing." Adrienne knew what nothing was and said "Well nothing has a stain on his tux you wanna explain that one."
"I was just hanging with Abi and we saw Mike with an evil glint in his eye, he was going to ruin our dresses with some sauce so we started pretend flirting with Tre and we redirected the spill to Tre" Katie explained.
"What else is wrong, I know you don't feel bad about messing up Mike" Adrienne asked.
Katie replied "Well we went behind a wall and Billie Joe was there, he made us feel guilty and didn't believe us when we said sorry and so now me and Abi are separated for the rest of the day." Adrienne understood how Katie felt and said to Katie "Look Billie does feel kinda bad about what he said, stop feeling so down and come with me" she stood up and held her hand out for Katie. Katie took Adrienne's hand and stood up, she didn't know what Adrienne was going to do but she trusted the older woman anyway. They stopped after a minute and they were standing in front of Billie Joe who was with Abi, she didn't know what was going on either until Adrienne explained "Billie has something to say to you two."
"Guys I'm sorry for getting angry at you two, I didn't mean to make you feel bad so sorry" Billie Joe apologized, Abi was about to say something when Adrienne stopped her and said "Just wait." Billie Joe took out of his pocket two tickets that said 'Woodstock '94' on them and he said "I was gonna give them to you anyway but instead there a consolidation for earlier, two front row tickets for Woodstock." Both girls thanked Billie Joe and hugged him. Neither knew what was going to happen they didn't even care.
All they knew is that they were going to Woodstock '94!
