Would You Be Mine?, chapter 12
Recap
"What's wrong?" Billie asked.
"I had a bad dream" I answered.
"Stay with me. I'll protect you. Nothing will happen" he said putting his arm around me.

I woke up the next morning still in Billie's arms. I smiled to myself and slowly got up trying not to wake him up. This time I succeeded. I made my way to the kitchen.
I made some coffee and sat down on the kitchen table. I thought about last night. Why did Tom after all this time still follows me in my dreams? I hated him, I really did. I drank my coffee and then decided to go back to bed to Billie. He was still sleeping. I laid down next to him, slowly cuddling up to him. A song came to my mind. I softly started singing: "Lying in my bed in the sun. It's a beautiful morning. Kissing you awake. Smiling while yawning... Wake up... " I gently kissed Billie on the forehead. "Staying in this dream a little bit longer. Playing silly games, seeing who's stronger... Wake up". Billie opened his eyes.
"Good morning, beautiful" he said smiling.
"Good morning" I answered.
"What were you singing?" he asked.
"Just a song that came to my mind"
"Playing silly games, huh?" he smiled.
"Yeah, like we did yesterday" I said. "I made some coffee, so when you want you can come down in the kitchen and have breakfast with me" I said kissing him on the cheek.
I went downstairs still having the song on my mind. "Wherever you go, whatever you say, I'll remember... Fortune is kind, keep it forever... Deep inside... "
I prepared everything for breakfast and sat down on the kitchen table. Billie walked in and kissed me on the lips.
"So what you wanna do today?" he asked.
"Don't know. Do you have any plans?"
"Uhm, no, not really.
Suddenly my cell phone rang again. It was Vanessa, also a very good friend of mine. "Hey Sarah, what's up?" she asked.
"Hey Vany"
"Where the fuck are Mel and you? Your mom said something with California"
"Yeah, we are in California."
I told her about what happened after the Interview and how we got here and stuff.
"You must be kidding me. You're staying with Green Day?" she screamed.
She never really was a huge Green Day Fan. But she liked listening to their music every now and then. She also had some CDs.
"I'm not kidding!" I said trying not to laugh. Billie looked at me confused because he didn't understand anything I was saying cause I talked in German.
"So are you and Billie together?" she asked.
"Well kind of." I answered. I didn't know if we were together. We never really talked about it. But I thought we were. I mean we kissed and made out.
"What means 'kind of'? Do you have sex? Do you make out? How far are you?" she asked.
I laughed at this. She always was like this. She wanted to know everything.
"No we didn't have sex" I said. Billie, of course understood the word 'sex' and looked at me. I smiled shyly. He laughed and said "Luckily I didn't understand the rest". I laughed at him and then heard Vanessa saying "Hello? I'm talking to you!"
"Oh, Vany, sorry. As I said we didn't have sex but we made out. But better call Mel she can tell you more."
"I will" she said laughing.
"Listen, I will call you back, OK? I need to hang up now, k?"
"OK, bye"
I hung up the phone and turned to Billie who was laughing.
"What?"
"Sex, that's all I could understand." he said still laughing hysterically.
"What's so funny about that? Can't I use the word?"
He smiled, leaned over and kissed me. "Any time"
"I know what we do today" I said after a while of watching TV.
"OK, what is it?"
"We'll go over to Mike's and have a party" I said jumping up and down.
"Oh, he will be surprised." Billie laughed.
We called Tré and, of course, he wanted to come as well.
Billie and I first went to the nearest mall to buy some things for the party. Billie held my hand all he time. While driving back I asked him what I wanted to ask him since the phone call with Vanessa.
"Billie... "
"Hm?" he said looking at me
"Billie... Are we... I mean, are we... Like... Erm... Together?" I asked almost whispering because I didn't know how he would react.
"We never talked about that but if you ask me I say yes. I love you Sarah and I want to be with you."
I smiled and kissed him on the cheek.
Billie stopped the car and turned to me. "I love you"
"I love you too" I said kissing him on the lips. We got out of the car and went inside.
We got ready and then drove off to Tré's to pick him and Julia up. But Tré was alone.
"Where's Julia?" Billie asked
"Don't ever say that name next to me again." Tré said really pissed
"OK then tell me where the fuck is the girl you were dating?" Billie said laughing a little
"She's in LA fucking some bastard to get his money" he said.
"She cheated on you?" I asked
"Yes, she did, she's a stupid whore" Tré said "But let's forget about her. She's done."
"OK Tré" Billie said.
We drove over to Mike's.
In the car Tré was already making jokes again. He would soon be over her, I thought.
We rang on Mike'sdoorbell and waited and waited. No one answered. Then Tré had an idea. He wanted to climb up to the balcony on their bedroom.
Billie helped him climbing up. When he reached the balcony he walked to the door and knocked on the window squeezing his face against the pane. Billie and I laughed our ass off. Then we heard a scream. This must have been Mel. And then Mike yelling at Tré. "What the fuck are you doing?"
"You didn't answer the door so we were afraid something happened to you. That's why I came up here to check if you're right. But I guess you are", he said looking at the naked Mel.
"Aha, and you do that by squeezing your face on our window and making funny faces" Mike said laughing.
Then Billie screamed "Mike, open the fucking door, OK?"
Mike did so and let us in.
"What the hell are you doing?" he asked watching us carrying all the alcohol and other stuff inside of his house.
"We're having a party" said Tré jumping up and down like a little kid.
"Oh my god" said Mike.
"What's wrong?" Billie asked.
