Wishing Pond (sequel to 1,000 Hours), chapter 1

It was just a little mistake. Yeah, just a little, tiny mistake. That's all it is. Just a tiny mistake. Wait, I take that back, it was the worst mistake of my life!

I sat on what used to be ''our'' bed. I sat on her side. I picked up her purple pillow, which used to be white but got stained from the many times that she dyed her hair, purple. I hugged it, wishing it was her, but it really wasn't. i cried into it, wishing it was her shoulder.

But it wasn't.

I walked to the park that we always went to together. I put my hands in my pockets and wished that she was by my side.

Yeah...I know. She wasn't. There I said it are you happy now? Look at what you made me do!! Blast!

I looked up into the big oak tree that we awlays climbed up, just to get away from it all. I climbed up the trunk, but stopped and slid back down.
''Dammit.''

So I got a running start and ran up the trunk and sat on my favorite branch, one that had a perfect view of the pond. I stared at it for a while and then thought,''I wonder''

Then I dug around in my pockets and found a penny. I turned my back against the pond, and held the penny in my hand and closed my eyes and wished in my head,
''I wish that she'll forgive me.''

Then threw it over my head, and waited until I heard the little 'plink' that it made when it sunk down into the water. Once I heard it, I climbed back down the tree and then my pocket vibrated, scaring the shit out of me. I took it out and the screen read Mike on it.

''What Mike?''
''Tre where the hell are you?''
''A park.''
''Why?''
''No reason.'' I really didn't wanna talk about it.
''Oh, well you're supposed to be at the studio like 2 hours ago!''
''Too flippin bad!''

Then I hung up on him. I wanted some alone time.

But yet I wanted Nikky to be alone with me.
