A Brutal yet Beautiful Romance, chapter 3
So many things were running through my mind. Why did he do that? How? And so many other things. But then all of a sudden I felt someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and looked up. No one was there. Then I closed my eyes then looked again. I saw Billie standing over me. I was in my own bed. My leg was there. Everything was back to normal. I jumped outta bed and started to go crazy. "Get the hell away from me, "I screamed at Billie without thinking. "Nicole, what's the matter?" Billie asked me trying to calm me down. "I don't know. I just had this crazy dream," I said while trying to figure out what had happened. I explained the dream to Billie, and afterwards we both started to laugh. "I don't know why you would dream that, or even think that. I love you and I would never hurt you. No matter how mad I got," Billie said, kissing me on the lips, comforting me so that I would forget the dream. "Well, I'm glad to hear that. That dream scared the shit outta me, " I said hugging Billie. "If only......................" I started to say but then I stopped. For I had not told Billie about me and Tre' in the dream. I was trying to see if that was something I had to take into comsideration, or not. "Billie I have to go and see Tre' for an hour or so, is that ok?" I asked Billie, trying not to lead him on to anything. "Yeah sure that's ok. Be back by three though, I have a surprise for you," Billie said, kissing me.
I drove over to Tre's. I had to be sure about the dream. I knocked on Tre's door. No one answered the first time. I knocked again. This time Tre' answered. "Oh... Nicole, this is kinda a bad time," Tre' said hesistating. "I just have to see something," I said. Then right before Tre' could say anything. I hugged him and kissed him on the lips. Tre' stood there astonished. I started to feel something in my gut. "Wow!" Tre' said. "Yeah," I said. "Well......... what did you want now?" Tre' asked still with the surprised look in his eye. "Oh..........nothing," I said trying to make something up," just wanted to see how you were doing." "Oh..........," the rest of Tre's sentence was cut off by yell. "WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!" coming from behind Tre' was some girl in her underwear. "Oh, so now your cheating on me," she said slapping Tre' across the face. The girl stomped out the door, and out to her car. "Oh my god, Tre' I'm so sorry," I said trying to apologize to Tre'. "Don't worry about it. She was a slut anyway," Tre' said. "Well I better go, Billie has something he wants to show me," I said turning away, to go to my car. But before I got to my car, Tre' came running after me. I didn't her him and was surprised when he grabbed my arm, and kissed me. I was surprised at first, but then I just gave in, and started to kiss Tre' back. "Tre'..........I....have..to..go," I said in between kisses. "Why? Can't you stay here for a little while," Tre' said trying to convince me to stay. "Well, I gues I could stay for a little bit," I said, kissing Tre' back. We went inside Tre's house. All we did while I was there was sit on the couch and watch tv. Once in a while, Tre' sneaked a few kisses here and there. I was actually starting to regret going to Tre's, I just wanted to know one thing then leave. "Tre', I reall have to go now," I said getting my stuff together. "Ok, but don't tell Billie," Tre' said. "Do you really think that I would be that stupid to tell Billie, that I made out with his best friend," I said laughing.
After I got home, Billie was gone. There was a cold dinner on the table with candles and roses. On my empty plate there was a note that said "What Happened". I felt bad now. I stayed up all night waiting for Billie to come home. But he never did. I called Mike. "Hey,Mike, is Billie there?" I asked Mike. "Yeah he's here,"Mike said," he said that he doesn't want to talk to you." "Mike, just put him on the phone," I said. Billie was starting to annoy me. "Yeah. What do you want?" Billie yelled. "Why weren't you here last night," I asked. "Because you weren't there," Billie said. "What did I do to tick you off?" I asked. "I saw you. With Tre'," Billie sais muttering under his voice. Oh sh!t! I thought. "Why don't you go stay with Tre' for a few nights until I come home, then we can talk this out," Billie suggested.
