A Blank Decision, chapter 7
"You think we should..." Mike trailed off. Tre waved his hand.
"Nope. Leave em be." he replied lazily.
"But Tre, we've 'let them be' for almost an hour." he presisted.
Tre sat up. "Whatever. Go ahead."
Mike smiled and walked out of the room. He closed the door and looked around for Adrienne and Billie... Only they weren't there. He walked a ways out in front of the door, then decided to go to the front desk. He strolled down the corrider and rode the elevator to the first floor, then dragged his feet to the line in front of the desk.
A familiar looking man was standing in front of him. He couldn't quite remember who he was, but he was sure he had met him before. He leaned forward and tapped the man on the shoulder. The man whized around, scaring Mike, and stopped mid-turn with a sly grin.
"I remember you." he began as he walked with Mike out of the line. He lead him into an empty section of the waiting room that had an open window. "You gave me the money outside that store."
"That's where I know you from! So... How is life?" he asked.
"For me, fine." he replied. Then he pulled out a tiny gun. "For you, not so good. Nuh night!"
He shot the silenced gun, releasing a trangulizar dart on Mike. Then he grabbed him, slung him over his shoulder, and exited the hospital through the open window. He fled to a getaway car and drove off.
Meanwhile, Tre was still sitting there in his bed. He had begun to wonder where everyone went. They wouldn't have left him there by himself... Would they? No. They must've gotten hungry, he decided, and he nervously tried to go to sleep again.
But his friends were in trouble, not hunger. As he dozed off into a light sleep, Mike and Billie Joe remained in a heavy state of uncosisnous. The only way for them to wake up would be if some one plucked the trangulizer darts from their necks.
Mike was thrown into a cell right next to Billie's, then chained to the bed and left to lay there. He had no idea what happened, or what would happen. Neither did Billie Joe... But some how, they were going ot get out of this. If only some one would wake them up.
"Ooowww..." Billie moaned as a guard pulled the dart from his neck.
The guard looked up and slapped him. "Silence."
He yelled at the guard and fought with them for awhile. Then he knew it was no use and scanned the room. Whilst doing so, he noticed the guard was female. She was pretty and petite, which surpirsed him. Why would she be working for Bush?
"Get up." she ordered.
Billie frowned. "You're kidding?"
"No, I mean it. Get up!" she yelled.
"Well, I would, except for the fact that I'm a little tied up at the moment lady!" he shouted. Then the chains released him.
"Not anymore. Up." she told him.
He sat up and stretched out, how long had he been alseep? The guard pulled him to his feet and he was quickly cuffed up. She walked a few steps, then pulled out a sword. Billie felt uncomfortable as she held it dangerously close to the back of his neck.
She pushed him forward like a hostage and with each step, anxiety rose inside him. What was going to happen? What was happening? He felt lost and confused, then a familar face popped up. Mike Dirnt was against a wall with a the end of a spear at his throat. Billie lunged forward.
He was choked back and cut on the right cheek with his guard's blade. He shook his head and called for Mike, then was lead down a long corridor. He and his guard stopped outside a wooden door.
It swung open and he was thrown roughly inside. She smiled and waved to him, then closed the door. What the heck? Bush's voice echoed through the halls behind him, something about Mike and his daughter was being said. Something that Billie himself could hear clearly.
"How could you let her escape? Are you stupid, she's a little girl!" Bush yelled. Billie sat up straighter.
"I dunno sir, she kinda just slipped from our grasp..." a guard told him.
There was a loud thud and the guard screamed. "Find her, bring her back here, or I will kill you. Understand?"
"Y-yes s-s-ir."
"Good..."
The door creaked open and Billie found himself staring the Presidnet dead in the eyes. At least Estella had escaped. Maybe that meant he and Mike could too. Bush took a step in and closed the door. He grinned.
It all happened so fast, Billie could barely analyze the situation. Bush was calm and quiet at first, then when Billie began to question his motives, he wipped out a gun. A loud crack fired and a pain rushed through Billie's right wrist, then another crack and a pain in his left shoulder. The next thing he saw was a familiar dart hurdeling towards him and then it was nothing but his eyelids.
Bush smiled wide. He had shot Billie in the key areas that he used. His left shoulder was used to hold the guitar up by the strap, and his right wrist was used for struming chords and strings. He was proud, he had actually done something right. Along with the real bullets, he also used trangulizers again. Now he walked out of the room and locked the door behind him.
The large, empty room in which Bush had left Billie to lay injured and unconcious was to be his new cell. Mike had to be returned to his, which was placed along side Billie's old cell. As well as those facts, they were also expecting another prisoner any moment now. Tre.
