I drove down to Rudy's with "misery" playing in the car I was thinking would I end up like Mr. Whirly from the song. Fallen in the bay cause of what Claudia and me would talk or argue about.
I had arrived to the café and walked in. I was a bit early so I sat down and ordered a coffee.
Two minuets after I had walked in Claudia came in looking for my presence so I stood up and made my presence known. She smiled as she walked over to the table. Was she just smiling because she was going to bite my head off. Man I had to do something about this paranoia.
"Sorry I'm late just dropped Frankito off at Mikes. You were right Estelle was there and she was happy to see frank" she said while giggling of the thought of Estelle and Franktio.
"It's ok Claudia I had only just got here myself. You want a coffee" I asked her. I hope that this runs smoothly. She smiled and nodded her head. Just hoped I seen a lot of them today.
After the coffee's had came we got to know each other and I had realised that Claudia was a kind a sensitive lady but she did seem like she was bragging a tiny bit. But it didn't mind me.
"Anyway Janet down to why were here... what did you want to know about Tre?" she asked. I looked at her and bit my lip. I didn't wanna talk about Tre and hear how he had broken two girls heart.
"Errrm... I just wanted to know... when I was on the bay bridge and Tre came to get me down he said that you could see how sad he was when we broke up... could you tell me why if you want to?" I asked while acting like I was about to be arrested for drug smuggling.
She let out a simple sigh and looked at me while taking a sip of her coffee. I could tell I had touched a nerve. She gave a half smile and sighed again
"The reason me and Tre broke up was because when we were in the house alone and every time we fell asleep I could hear him say your name and he would wake up and see that I was there and he would walk into the bathroom and I could hear sobs" .Tre Cried for me I couldn't believe it
"And there's more... We would argue about the stupidest things and I felt like I was married to him again plus it wasn't the type of thing I wanted Frankito to witness," she said with tone of sadness. With that she let out a sob. I could do the only thing I could do. Comfort her but the next thing I knew I felt her hands wrap around my neck.
"Come on I'll take you home" I said while trying to help her up. But she just wouldn't budge.
"No it's ok I'll probably go into the town and meet up with a few friend's" she said
"Are you sure? I can always take you home if you want to?" I asked with a slight fear that she might do something stupid.
"Yea I'm positive. Go home But please don't tell Tre that I told you all of that" she pleaded. This woman was so distraught about the things she had reviled to me. But I agreed that I wouldn't say a word to Tre and with that we said our goodbyes and I walked out of the café.
Jesus I didn't expect that to happen. I hope that Claudia would be OK.
