As we got in the car all I could think about was the fact that I was carrying another person inside of me and in nine months time I would get to see this wonderful creation. I looked up at Tre who was smiling to himself and in a world of his own.
"Sorry to kick you out of I'm gonna be a daddy world but last time we went shopping was about 3 weeks ago" I said as Tre turned on the ignition.
"Oh... ok I think there's a K mart somewhere around here," he said softly as he kept his eyes focused on the road. The radio softly played iris by the goo goo dolls. I could hear Tre hum the chorus and tap the beat on the steering wheel. I could sense the pride from the news.
Half way round and empty K mart I could hear a faint giggle from Tre as we walked down a deserted isle. Something was making him laugh so much... had I picked up the wrong product... did he do something that would kick us out?
"Here Jan let me do that for you... it's bout time I shifted my weight today" he said soothingly in my ear. I just had a look of confusion as I gave him the shopping basket. I could still hear him laughing as we walked on... what was so funny. I had to find out.
"What's so funny... you've been giggling and laughing since we came in here?" I asked. He looked at me with the same cheeky grin I feel in love with and smiled,
"Do you remember when we watched the Simpson's a couple of nights ago?" he asked with wide eyes. I simply nodded. It was the episode when Bart couldn't go see the new itchy and scratchy movie.
"Yes... why?" I asked with a more concerned voice. Again his eyes went wider and his eyebrows arched.
"Remember when Bart took grandpas teeth and started to spin around on the fan," he said with a smirk. I grinned and nodded.
"Yeah he done it to that old classic song? Oh god what is it called" he said with his head tilted to one side.
I laughed and replied " Dance of the sabres... my mother had it on vinyl... she liked classical music... hence why Lacey and me are punks" I laughed.
"Well what did it go like?" he asked. So I started to hum it loudly so he could hear me.
As I did that he wiggled his eyebrows then next thing he ran down the isle screaming the song while wiggling his ass.
He did a sharp turn at the right part of the song. I just stood there laughing so loud that I didn't see Tre come round the other side of the isle and stopped right next to me with a huge smile on his face.
"I haven't been shopping in a while so I had to do that... I just had to" he said in between breath while holding his sides. I laughed along with him and nudged his side to show that I was having a good time.
After we got home and put all the shopping away we were relaxing on the couch and Tre pulled my feet on to his thighs and started to massage my feet. I closed my eyes and let out a slight groan.
"Thanks for this baby... you really know how to treat a woman," I purred while I felt Tre's hand make circles on my feet. His hands where so soft and gentle.
"Well I felt that since you are now my future bride and going to be my babies momma you needed to be treated like a queen... and since after 5 months I aint gonna be getting any nookie I might as well get as much s-"
I slapped his hands and let out a small laugh and felt him shift his body next to mine. This was perfect. A roof over my head, the one I love next to me, a baby on the way and friends all around me.
Life couldn't get any better. Or so I thought.
