Family Man, chapter 4
Billie Joe walked down the stairs and joined Adrienne and Jakob. They talked and ate lunch. At about 3 o'clock, Billie Joe got up and announced that he was going to go pick up Joey now. Jakob said that he wanted to go, "Please mommy?" He begged.
"Oh, alright." Adrienne said with a grin.
"Right on little dude, lets go." Billie Joe said. They left and went to go get Joey.
*Katie And Matt*
The last bell for the day rang and all the students ran fromt he classes and to their lockers. Amound the crowd, were Katie and Matt ho9lding hands and walking together. Erika walked up, "Hey guys. What are you up to?" She asked.
"Oh, well I'm going to go to matts place for supper tonght. What about you?" Katie replied.
"Me. Oh well I'm gonna head to the arcade for a while." Erika replied.
Katie could tell that Erika wanted to hang out with them, but she didn't want to be a bother. Erika hated being a third wheel at dates. "Ok then Chicka, I'll talk to you later."
Erika walked away and left Katie and Matt standing at Matt's locker, "What was that about?" Matt asked.
"Nothing, just some girl stuff." Katie replied. "Should we be going then?" KAtie asked.
"Yeah, my mom can't wait to meet you."
*Billie Joe And Adriennes House*
Billie Joe arrived home with his sons. Adrienne met them at the door and propsed an idea, "Why don't we all go out for supper tonight? I mean, jsut the three of us. Katie is going to be at her friends house so I thought it would be a nice idea."
"Sure babe, we can go out, I know just the place." Billie Joe said.
"As long as its not McDonalds, again." Adrienne laughed.
"I'm not that cheap, anymore."
"Yay, we get to have McDonalds for supper tonight!" Joey yelled.
"No baby, we are going to eat somewhere fancy." Adrienne corrected him.
"Oh. O. K. Mom." Joey said, looking dissapointed.
*Katie and Matt*
"Well, this is my house." Matt exclaimed.
"Its beautiful." Katie said in awe. It was a beautiful house. It was vicorian. It had a english garden and even some cute little shutters. Katie thought to herself, "If the outside is this nice, I wonder what the inside looks like.
Katie was shocked when she walked into the house. Matts family was disgusting. There were old plates and food boxes laying everywhere. Matts dad was sitting on the old couch in his boxers and a muscle shirt. His mom had a cigarette in her mouth as she was preparing supper. Katie could see some ashes fall on to one of the steaks. Matt lead Katie to his bedroom. He had clothes laying all over the floor, which Katie could not tell if there was even a floor. Matt had a dresser, and it was being used to hold up some more clothes. The only thing Katie recognised in the mess was a old aquarium that had a lizard in it, "Whats that thing?" Katie asked.
"Thats my Gecko, named Misharu." Matt replied.
"Oh." Katie said as she looked around the room. The bed looked as though no one ever made it, there wern't even sheets on it. Katie just looked around and sat on the bed, amking sure she didn't sit on anything. She suddenly screamed.
"Whats the matter?" Asked Matt.
"A big fucking spider jsut crawled from under that shirt!" Yelled Katie.
Mat started jumping on the shirt. Assured that he killed the spider, Matt picked up the shirt and saw a gooey pile of spider on the front. He tossed it out of his rooma nd closed the door again.
Matts mother called to them that supper was ready.
"Oh, alright." Adrienne said with a grin.
