80 (Adie Please Keep Taking Me Away), chapter 2
Suddenly Mike threw a guitar pick at Billie Joe.
"Come on Billie snap out of it." said Mike hitting Billie Joe across the head
"Oh ya okay sooty, hey what the hell was that for?" asked Billie Joe rubbing his head.
Mike looked at him "Because your off in your own little fantasy land while every one's fucking staring at you waiting for you to start, and they still are so lets go!" said Mike
"Oh Ya sorry." said Billie Joe.
Billie Joe started playing "At the Library". Mike and Tre looked at him funny because they were suppose to start off with"Going to Pasalacqua", but they just joined in when they were suppose to like nothing happened.
All Billie Joe could do was look at the girl in front. It looked like she was with 2 other girls.
"Good she isn't with a guy." thought Billie Joe as he was singing "Are you leaving soon? I just need a little time."
When they finished the song Mike pulled Billie Joe a side
"What the hell are you doing? We were suppose to start off with "Going to Pasalacqua". said Mike
"Um I forgot." said Billie Joe still thinking about the girl in the crowd
"Are you fucking mental or something we've only been doing this for 2 months now, how can you forget now?" asked Mike
"Okay okay we'll stick to the original set list." said Billie Joe thinking back to what was coming up next. "We'll just do Going to Pasalaqua when we usually do At the Library." said Billie Joe.
"Okay." said Mike "You do remember what song is coming up next right?" asked Mike.
"Ya it's Green Day." answered Billie Joe
"Thanks the freaking lord you remember." said Mike joking.
"Okay are we all settled now?" asked Tre. Billie Joe and Mike nodded. They did the song "Green Day" along with 16, The Judge's Daughter, Road to Acceptance, Dry Ice, Only of you, 409 in your coffee maker, and The one I want.
Almost the whole entire show Billie Joe started at the girl that he still didn't know her name, but not all the time because he didn't want the girl to know that he was so into her, but at the same time he did. He couldn't wait until after the show so he could just talk to her.
When they were done playing Mike asked
"So why were all up in the clouds?" asked Mike
"No reason." lied Billie Joe
"It's a girl isn't it?" said Mike and Tre together
"Ya she was in front and to the right." said Billie Joe.
"I'm going to go talk to her." said Billie Joe
"Okay have fun." said Tre and Mike.
All 3 of them walked out they were trying to sell some merchandise at the shows to get money so they could play the next, also every once in a while someone would ask for their autograph. Billie Joe looked around everywhere for the girl he had to find her he didn't know what was going on, he had this weird feeling, but the best feeling he ever felt.
Finally he saw her in the back of the place looking at some of there merchandise. Billie Joe walked up to her about to say something.
