80 (Adie Please Keep Taking Me Away), chapter 3
Billie Joe walked up behind the girl. He went to say something but no words came out of his mouth, it was like as if someone had taken his voice box in his throat away or something. She went to turn around and bumped into Billie Joe.
"Oh I'm sorry." she said looking up "Oh it's you." she said
"Yep, it's me. Me would be Billie Joe." he said then thinking "Shit that sounded so retarded."
"Hi, Billie Joe I'm Adrienne." she said laughing "Awesome show tonight."
"Thanks. Um do you want to go get some coffee or something?" asked Billie Joe
"Sure that would be cool even thought it's like 12:30 at night, but let's go." she said.
Billie Joe and Adrienne walked to a Star Bucks that was a couple blocks away. The whole time they walked Billie Joe felt like his shoe's were on the wrong feet. Hey that's in one of my songs." Billie JOe thought to himself as he held the door open for Adrienne, as they walked into StarBucks.
"Um I'll just take a small coffee with creamer." said Billie Joe "What would you like?" Billie Joe asked looking over at Adrienne.
"Oh no it's okay I've got this." she said taking out her wallet.
"No it' son me." he said pushing her hand back.
"Thank's." she said"I'll take the same thing." she said.
Billie Joe and Adrienne got there coffee's and sat at a table in Star Bucks. Surprisingly they weren't the only people there at 1 in the morning. Billie Joe stared into her eyes. Those eye's they were so beautiful he falt as if he was staring into the gates of heaven or something. Billie Jeo had this whole new power in him that he had never felt before.
"So do you live here?" asked Billie Joe.
"Yes, I'm in collage here." she answered.
"I see." said Billie Joe.
"So are you guy's doing your own tour now?" asked Adrienne.
"Ya, were touring in the old book mobile. It's funny people always come up to us asking if we sell books, Tre our drummer always goes "Do we even look like we read?" laughed Billie Joe.
"He seems like a um fun person to tour with." laughed Adrienne
"Oh he is. It's never a dull day with Tre around." joked Billie Joe.
"So have you ever been to any other one of our show's? 'asked Billie Joe.
"Actually, yes I did but I was way in the back that time." she said.
"I thought so. I'm almost 100% sure I would have remembered you." said Billie Joe. Adrienne smiled at him. Billie Joe looked at her smiling, he could just sit there and stare at her smile her eyes forever.
"Billie Joe?" she said waving her hand in front of him.
"Oh ya sorry I lost track there for a second." he said
"It's okay. So like I said where are you performing next?" she asked. Suddenly Billie Joe was sad. He totally forgot that he had to leave. He wanted this moment with Adrienne to last forever.
"Oh I think we are going to a different part of Minnesota I think. Billie Joe said sadly. Adrienne looked a little disappointed herself.
"Can I ask you something?" asked Billie Joe.
"Ya, sure go ahead" she said.
"Do you have a boyfriend or anything?" asked Billie Joe.
"Nope." she said. Billie Joe suddenly felt so happy once again. The feeling he got when he first let eyes on Adrienne.
Billie Joe Adrienne talked a little bit more. By the time they had left Star Buckes they walked out the doors hand in hand.
