80 (Adie Please Keep Taking Me Away), chapter 33
Billie Joe woke up to the sun illuminating sun that was creping through the blinds in the room. He looked next to him to find Adrienne not there. He searched for his pants that were on the ground, got up and put them on. He assumed that Adrienne might have just went downstairs to get coffee or breakfast or something. Tre couldn't have decided to show how he can stuff doughnuts in his mouth because Mike and Tre were at their own houses. Billie Joe went to open the bathroom door, but it was locked.
"Adie are you in there?" asked Billie Joe. No one answered, but he heard the door unlock. Billie Joe was wondering what the hell was going on. Should he go in? Well his question got answered when the door cracked open. There sat Adrienne with a blank expression on her face. She looked like she might have been crying. Billie Joe wasn't sure what was going on.
"Adie are you okay?" asked Billie Joe still standing in the doorway. She looked up at him.
"Billie." said Adrienne.
"Adie?" asked Billie Joe.
"I'm pregnant." said Adrienne looking at Billie Joe as her eyes began to water up a bit. She looked happy, but scared at the same time.
"Wait what?" asked Billie Joe dumbfound as ever.
"I'm going to have a baby." said Adrienne.
"How did this happen?" asked Billie Joe in a happy, but confused sort of way.
"Do I really need to explain it to you?" asked Adrienne.
"No no I know how it happened this is great." said Billie Joe running towards Adrienne to give her a kiss.
"You mean your not mad?" asked Adrienne now crying.
"Adie this is the best news I've heard." said Billie Joe holding her.
"Are you 100% sure?" asked Billie Joe.
"Yep see the sticks blue." said Adrienne holding the results to the pregnancy test that she bought that morning at the drug store down the street from the hotel.
"Best Blue I've ever seen." said Billie Joe.
"I was so scared you were going to be upset, and I was happy but scared. Oh this is wonderful." said Adrienne crying still.
"Adie why are you crying if your so happy?" asked Billie Joe wiping the tears with his thumb.
"I'm just so happy. I don't know why I'm still crying I'm just I don't know happy." said Adrienne. Billie Joe and Adrienne both began kissing as the kiss got more and more romantic so did they. Billie Joe picked her up and threw her back on the bed. Let's just say their clothes came off just about as fast as they were put back on. It was a "Celebration".

After the "Celebration" Billie Joe once again had his arm around Adrienne. They both were thinking the same thing. That the moments like that could just last all the time, them together hand in hand.
"I was worried you were going to get mad since you guys are going back on tour tomorrow for about the rest of the year, well you get some time off cause you mentioned earlier that you guys were making another video right?" asked Adrienne. Billie Joe had completely forgot about touring again he was to absorbed with getting married with Adrienne and now finding out he was going to be a parent, it was kind of overwhelming, but in a good way.
"It's okay everything will work out." said Billie Joe giving Adrienne a kiss on the forehead.
"I just want you to know though that I will be there as much as I can for you. I will help you anyway I can no matter what it take. I know it will be hard with me being on tour and everything, and I know you won't be able to do all of tour with us, I will be there for you to help and support you." said Billie Joe.
"I know you will Billie, but don't get overwhelmed with me and the baby, and let it inter fear with your music." said Adrienne.
"Don't worry Adie I'll be there." said Billie Joe.
"I love you." said Adrienne.
"I love you too." said Billie Joe. They were both silent for a few minutes.
"Do you want to go get something to eat?" asked Billie Joe.
"Ya sure." said Adrienne. They both got up and got dressed and everything.
They decided to walk a few blocks to a restaurant. On the way people recognized Billie Joe and asked for autographs and everything one person even asked for Adrienne's. After running in to fans they sat down at the restaurant and ate. After eating and everything they decided to walk around the streets of Berkley. As they were walking by Telegraph Ave someone shouted something at Billie Joe.
"Sellout!" said a small group of punks. Billie Joe turned around. He recognized the small group, they went to the Gilman quite a few times when they played also when Mike and Billie Joe would go to watch other bands, they kind of became friends back in the day. Billie Joe just ignored them.
"Get the fuck out of here you sellout!" yelled another one of them. Billie Joe was getting mad and kind of hurt at the same time because all he wanted to do was make music, he knew that this was going to kind of happen being a punk band and signing to a major label, but these are his friends, or one's that he thought were and now he's kind of an outcast from everything. All in the few minutes he began thinking about his music and the local fan base that wasn't much anymore.
"Billie come on let's get out of here don't listen to them." said Adrienne.
"Okay." said Billie Joe.
They both walked just walked around the streets of Berkley the cold California air whiping their faces every once in a while. Billie Joe reminiscing on what had just happened.
"Billie don't worry about what they said. It's not your fault that you became really big and everything plus all you guys want to do is make music,and that's just what your doing don't let people like that get to you." said Adrienne.
"Thanks Adie it's just now I kind of feel guilty because I mean those were our friends and everything." said Billie Joe who was finding a sudden interest in his converse that were worn out as hell.
"Billie what do you think most of them would have done in your position? Not to sound mean, but you guys were high school dropouts I mean if they were in that position I can almost bet they would have done the same. Plus you guys needed to take that next step in your musical career, you guys were getting pretty big around here anyway." said Adrienne who put her finger underneath his chin to left it.
"Thanks Adie." said Billie Joe who kissed her hand.
"Come on lets go back to the room. We have to get up early to leave tomorrow." said Adrienne.
"Okay." said Billie Joe who put his arm around Adrienne as they walked back to the hotel.
Right when they got their. They packed everything up and went to sleep since they had to get up early to go on tour.
