80 (Adie Please Keep Taking Me Away), chapter 34
Billie Joe and Adrienne woke up to the wake up call that morning. Billie Joe just picked up the phone and hung it up when he heard the person at the reception desk. Then he turned back on his side.
"Why did you do that?" asked Adrienne still with her eyes closed.
"Cause I don't want to talk to some dude that woke me up." said Billie Joe. A few seconds later the phone rang again. He picked up and hung up the phone once again.
"Leave me alone!" Billie Joe mumbled turning back over. A few seconds later the phone rang once again this time Billie Joe answered it.
"I heard you the 1st time!" Billie Joe yelled in the phone and hung it up.
"Um Billie I think we should maybe get up the guy's just doing his job." said Adrienne.
"Ya I know, but he doesn't have to call 3 freaking times I'm not deaf or retarded." said Billie Joe. Right after Billie Joe said that the phone rang again. Billie Joe was getting really pissed off now. He grabbed the phone and unplugged it. Adrienne started laughing as Billie Joe laid back down.
"Okay well since you want to sleep I'll start getting ready and wake you up in a little bit." said Adrienne getting up.
"Thanks." said Billie Joe falling back asleep almost instantly. Adrienne laughed and started to get ready. Adrienne took a shower got dressed and did all that other crap you do in the morning when you get ready. She walked out to wake Billie Joe he was asleep alright. His mouth was open every once in a while leaving out a little snore. Adrienne had to do it she took a picture of him he looked so funny. She went to wake him up.
"Billie Joe come on you have to wake up." said Adrienne shaking him gently. He pretended he was still asleep which she knew. She tried a few more times, but he wouldn't wake up.
"Man such a shame you won't get up. I thought we could take a shower together or something, but your 'asleep'." she said emphasizing the word asleep.
"Really?" asked Billie Joe shooting up smiling.
"I already took one." said Adrienne.
"So why not get cleaner. You know what they say you can never be to clean?" said Billie Joe getting up.
"No I just said that to get you up." said Adrienne laughing.
"Damn got my hopes up." said Billie Joe snapping his fingers.
"Ya even if I wasn't we wouldn't have time. Look what time it is." said Adrienne pointing to the clock.
"Oh shit I have to get ready." said Billie Joe running into the bathroom. Adrienne watched TV while Billie Joe took a shower and got ready. When Billie Joe came out. He gave Adrienne a kiss and said that they had to go. They grabbed their suitcases. Went downstairs and checked out, got in the limo and left for the airport where they were meeting Mike and Tre.
"We can tell Mike and Tre about the baby right?" asked Billie Joe.
"Of course." said Adrienne.
"Okay good." said Billie Joe.
They arrived at the airport to see Mike and Tre waiting by the gate. Billie Joe and Adrienne walked over by them and sat down.
"Well if it isn't the two lovebirds." said Tre.
"Hi Tre." said Billie Joe and Adrienne.
"So how was your honeymoon?" asked Mike.
"It was good." said Billie Joe.
"What did you guys do?" asked Tre.
"Dude it's a honeymoon what the hell do you think they did?" said Mike sarcastically.
"Ah it's okay Mike. We fucked like bunnies." said Billie Joe. They all started laughing.
"In fact well Adrienne's pregnant." said Billie Joe looking over at Adrienne.
"Holy shit how did that happen?" asked Tre. Billie Joe and Adrienne started laughing cause that's what Billie Joe said when she told him.
"You see Tre Adrienne and Billie Joe love each other very much and one night Billie got-" said Mike, but Tre cut him off.
"I know that ass hole. Man Billie when you do something you really get the job done." said Tre winking at Billie Joe.
"Uhh thanks Tre?" said Billie Joe laughing. Mike and Tre congratulated both Adrienne and Billie Joe.
"Did you guys at all go back to you know walk around Berkley at all?" asked Mike.
"Ya actually we had an encounter with people on Telegraph street." said Billie Joe.
"Ya Tre and I did too people calling us sell out and no we brought attention to the Gilman and everything." said Mike picking at the seat kind of looking down.
"This is bullshit you know? All I want to do is make music, and people are fucking doing is calling us sellout's around here I mean it's like their fucking punk inspectors or something." said Billie Joe getting pissed off.
"You want to know the worst part of it?" asked Tre.
"What?" asked Billie Joe.
"It was a group of our friend's." said Tre.
"Well our old friends." said Mike.
"I mean I know we were taking risk signing to a major record, but we needed to go farther with our music, but at the same time I don't wanna loose our fan base here. I mean those were our friends and the Gilman was like our 2nd home." said Billie Joe.
"I know." said Mike and Tre together.
"I mean now everyone at Gilman has turned their backs on us. The Gilman was more like my family ten my own and now we're exiled from it it's like we're outcast's or something." said Billie Joe.
"I know, but we can't just quit because of what are community says. I mean if their being ass's we're suppose to be nice to them?" said Mike.
"I mean I'm done with this. As hard as it is we just have to leave those people behind." said Tre.
"I know it's just kind of hard you know?" said Billie Joe.
"Ya I know." said Mike.
Pretty much right after that conversation they all got on the plane adn flew to their next show.
