80 (Adie Please Keep Taking Me Away), chapter 35
*Okay so I'm skipping ahead to... None other then August 22, 1994 none other then the day Green Day played Woodstock this should be fun. All that really happened is well Adrienne was well more pregnant if that makes any sense. Also Green Day played the opening slot at lollapalooza, which was awkward for them because they were an newer band and all the older bands were just kind of like "Okay who are these people?" and what not, Especially Perry Farrell. He did not exactly except Green Day. He thought they were kind of a band that a corporation put together and what not kind of like the old band the Monkeys were a band that a corporation put together, but Green Day well was just a band that happen to get famous on their own. They released a music video for Basket Case which was huge. Dookie was climbing higher and higher in the charts. The band recalled when Rob Cavallo recently told them that they were exploding and that they were huge. It kind of scared Green Day a bit, because they didn't realize how big they were going to be when they signed to a major label. It was really scaring Billie Joe because it was weird when they performed people singing the lyrics he wrote right back at him, and just the whole aspect of how famous was kind of creepy as well.
It was a cloudy rainy day. Green Day were flying to the show by helicopter to play Woodstock which they all were hecka excited about even though it wasn't the best weather they were GOING to make the best of it. In the distance you could barely see the tents and what not from it. Billie Joe with his now blue hair was sitting next to Adrienne with his arm around her, Mike was next to them, and Tre now with green hair was by the window.
"I can see a big banner that I think says "Woodstock 94'". " said Tre smudged up against the window and getting excited as hell.
"Billie look out your window and see what you can see from your side." said Tre releasing himself from the glass leaving an imprint of his face. Billie leaned up against the glass himself.
"I don't see much just a bunch of tents." said Billie Joe.
"Dammit." said Tre looking down. Tre was getting board so he began to erase the the outline of his face on the window, and began wiping the oil that was on the window from his face. Mike kind of looked at Billie Joe and Adrienne and nodded his head towards Tre. Tre now was attempting to draw a picture with the oil on his face on the window. Billie Joe, Mike, and Adrienne snickered a bit because Tre seemed to be fascinated by it.
"Having fun?" asked Mike.
"Actually yes. I'm trying to make a dog, but it's not working out." said Tre now getting frustrated.
"Stupid shit that's on my face, that won't make a fucking dog." said Tre spazzing out on the window wiping it away.
"Did you give up?" asked Mike snickering.
"No I'm going to trey again." said Tre putting his forehead up against the window to the face oil all over again.
"Dude that's kind of gross, but kind of cool too." said Billie Joe.
Watching Tre attempt to draw seemed to pass the time because before they knew it they were over the area.
"Holy shit." said Billie Joe and Tre together as they looked down at the huge crowd that was runing in towards the stage. They all knew this was going to be huge and crazy at the same time.
They got off the Helicopter and watched the other bands play. During the extended whole world-music segment featuring a string of artists the crowd booed and chanted for Green Day an announcer had to come on and say "Green Day will be on when they're turn comes, please give the other musicians there turn."
So Green Day comes on and all hell breaks loose and it is a mess. Mud begins to fly every which way like a twister suddenly appeared. They did songs like When I come around. Longview, Basket Case, She, Welcome to Paradise, Coming Clean, the typical songs.
Someone threw a big chunk of mud onto the stage. Billie Joe caught it in mid air. Of course what does he do with it? He put it in his mouth. Adrienne who was watching from the side of the stage knew it was going to escalate. Then a few more people started throwing mud. Billie Joe threw it back at them. This was what Green Day was going to make out of this rainy day make all hell break loose and start a mud fight. At one point Billie Joe pulled down his pants. During the mud fight Billie Joe screams
"This isn't love and peace this is fucking Anarchy!"
Right before they play F.O.D.
"Your all just mad cause your in the rain... Well fuck you!" Mike screamed in the microphone. People cheered and yelled.
"I hope it rains so much you get stuck!" said Mike.
"Hold on a second I have to clean off my hands." Billie Joe said whipping his muddy hands on his red tie that had a question mark in it which was also covered in mud. Also he wiped a little bit of his guitar off because there were huge mud chunks and mud rocks stuck between the strings and frets.
"Eww like mud." said Mike sarcastically at some preppy chicks that he saw in the crowd that were complaining about being covered in mud and still getting mud thrown at them. Also they seemed to find it gross that Billie Joe was using his tie to clean his hands and guitar off. Right after Mike said that Billie Joe started playing and singing F. O. D.

During this song fans began jumping on stage and running around on it slipping and sliding... Security guards began to take action. One kid went up and hugged Billie Joe as the security guard dragged the guy away also dragging Billie Joe taking him away from singing (Later Billie Joe called him back onstage to sing a few lines). Right when the song broke out getting harder and harder all hell broke loose even more, not like much more hell could break loose, but it did. Something un expected happened though... Mike got his front teeth broke out.
As people were still running all over the stage like midgets with their heads cut off or something. Mike and Billie were running around as well. Billie Joe continued to run around playing his muddy guitar. Mike was doing the same with his bass. At one point Billie Joe and Mike just threw their instruments down and ran around with everyone on the slip in slide mud stage. Except for Mike when security was trying to calm things down a bit by grabbing people and throwing them off stage and preventing new ones from coming on stage Mike was mistaken for a fan. The security guard eyed Mike and started running towards him, this wasn't a skinny person either he had a little extra baggage actually a heck of a lot of extra baggage was a big hairy scary fat man.
"Dude I'm the bass player!" Mike screamed at the running security guard.
"Ya right we've heard that before." said the security guard collided knocking Mike into a monitor face first which busted out his front teeth. Billie Joe stopped banging the microphone into a glob of mud and grass that was on the ground and noticed blood starting to drip onto Mike's once white Screeching Weasel shirt. A few seconds later it registered with Billie Joe what had happened. Billie Joe out the muddy microphone and yelled in the microphone
"Hey man just trying to have fun a little rock and roll!"
Everyone started to throw mud at the security guard. Billie Joe went over to the bleeding Mike with front teeth knocked out. Billie Joe could tell that he was hurting bad especially from all the blood that was being absorbed into his Screeching Weasel shirt.
Right away Green Day had to get off stage and get safe, because of injured Mike. They immediately went back in the helicopter and flew to a hospital.
